The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lizard shoots in for a takedown but Young shows good takedown defense.
Lizard closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Young did well to prevent Lizard getting side control.

Young is working to tighten is grip on Lizard's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Lizard has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Young is really squeezing tight and eventually Lizard passes out! Young breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Diaz circles away from the clinch attempt
and Diaz counters with a stiff right hand.
Iridium looks to clinch
and Diaz counters with a straight right hand.
Iridium takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Iridium tries to clinch up

Iridium swings wildly with an uppercut but Diaz uses good head movement to avoid it.
Diaz tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Iridium just stands there and leans against the cage.
Iridium comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Diaz pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Diaz wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Iridium leaves Diaz with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Iridium's jab looks to have found its range, popping Diaz under the eye.

Zentsov lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Zentsov.

and Zentsov counters with a nice low kick that buckles Schnitz's knee momentarily.

Zentsov lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Schnitz falls backwards - clearly groggy! Zentsov dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!

I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Tom Cat was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Ivan Kurochkin and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
D throws a hook but Cat blocks it.
That kick from D tenderised Cat's leg. Cat is trying to keep his angry face on.
D paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
D tries to score with a low kick but Cat moves his leg out of the way.
Cat uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from D.
D swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
D looks to score with a jab to the body but Cat is just out of range.

D throws a push kick but Cat slaps the foot to one side.
D throws a right hand that misses
and Cat counters with a nice uppercut.
Cat doesn't succeed with the takedown
and D counters with a nice body shot.

D thumps Cat with a low kick.
Cat steps to the side to avoid the strikes from D.

and Cat counters with a single leg into guard. D didn't expect that.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Cat passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Cat tries to score with some ground and pound. D controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Cat breaks D's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
D is trying to control the position from the bottom.

D wants to get back to his feet but Cat is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Cat is looking to work some ground and pound but D has wrist control.
D is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

D slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
D cracks Cat with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Cat looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can D finish him?
Cat is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
D feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Cat's calf.
Man D is winning the standup battle so far.
D dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Cat. That did some damage!

D drops Cat with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Cat looks back up at him and smiles so D waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
A looping hook to the body misses from D. Cat does a little dance to reset his feet.
Man D is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Nice defenses there by Cat.
D is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Cat can do to turn this around?
D misses with a low kick.

D throws a big shot that misses.
Tom Cat is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Cat shoots and misses
and D counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Man D has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tom Cat.
D rushes Cat with punches - Cat moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Cat goes down! D follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:40 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Man D!

Jr looks to throw the jab but Foote is out of range.
Jr takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
It looks like Murdock Jr has been cut.
Foote tests Jr's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Foote drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Foote tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Foote working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Foote misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Foote escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jr gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
