The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sloane cracks Dasaev with an open hand slap. Dasaev takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Sloane punishes Dasaev's body with a nice straight punch. Sloane feints and then cracks Dasaev's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Dasaev down. Dasaev has his takedown stuffed and Sloane counters with a head kick. This has been an exciting period of action! Sloane lands a big head kick that sends Dasaev to the canvas! Sloane follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! IV moves out of range as Banana strikes. Jamii Banana seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A big right from Banana misses. IV tries for a takedown but Banana circles away easily and Banana counters with a lovely straight right hand! IV closes the distance but Banana moves to the side and Banana counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Banana misses with a wild body shot. Banana throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
IV wants to clinch and Banana counters with a right hand to the body. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! IV closes the distance looking to clinch and Banana connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
That's one minute gone in the round. Banana with a nice cross. IV shoots in but doesn't get the takedown enabling Banana to counter with a crisp jab. IV keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Banana. A big left from Banana misses. IV with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Banana to score with a decent uppercut.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Banana ducks down and throws a hook to the body but IV moves away. IV ducks under a wild hook from Banana. Banana with a jab. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! IV fails with the takedown and Banana counters with a straight right hand. Jamii Banana has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ivan IV. Banana throws out a loose jab but IV uses good head movement to avoid it. IV doesn't succeed with the takedown and Banana connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Banana is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by IV.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Banana blocks a head kick by IV.
Banana misses the jab. Banana lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. IV tries for a takedown but Banana circles away easily and Banana counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. IV throws a poor cross that misses
and Banana counters with a huge right that knocks IV out cold! Banana is running around with a crazed look on his face - you can see how much that meant to him!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Excellent takedown into side control there by Karamazin. Chelios is pushing Karamazin's head away, looking to escape. Karamazin manages to hold on to the position though. Karamazin is looking to take a break and control but Chelios is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Karamazin advances to full mount. Chelios really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Karamazin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Karamazin looking to secure an arm triangle but Chelios defends it well. Karamazin has hold of Chelios's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Chelios manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Karamazin working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Chelios turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Karamazin off and cradles Chelios's limp body as Karamazin celebrates with his corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Potapkin drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Reynolds is trying to get back to half guard. Potapkin wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Reynolds, who protects the arm well. Potapkin thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Potapkin tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Potapkin is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Reynolds knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Reynolds gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reynolds is trying to get back to full guard. Potapkin trying to control from half guard but Reynolds is working away. Reynolds looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Reynolds actively working from the bottom here. Reynolds actively working from the bottom here. Reynolds is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Potapkin pulls his head out easily. Potapkin is looking for a kimura but Reynolds is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Potapkin to get the leverage. Reynolds looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Potapkin is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Reynolds sees it coming and defends easily. Potapkin is breathing heavily. Reynolds moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Reynolds keeping moving, preventing Potapkin from controlling successfully. Potapkin drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Potapkin jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Reynolds had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Potapkin defends it easily.

Reynolds trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Reynolds escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Potapkin gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Potapkin trying to control the position from guard on top but Reynolds is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Reynolds has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Potapkin can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Reynolds had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Potapkin defends it easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Potapkin is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Reynolds doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Oh, Reynolds has tightened it up now! Potapkin should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gracie scores to the head and body with a nice combination! A punch combination from Gracie misses. Sokrateles misses with a looping left. Excellent takedown into side control there by Sokrateles. Sokrateles tries to score with some ground and pound. Gracie controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Gracie pushes Sokrateles away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Sokrateles gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Sokrateles fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Sokrateles is working to tighten is grip on Gracie's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Gracie has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Sokrateles is really squeezing tight and eventually Gracie passes out! Sokrateles breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Skeet was covering up waiting for the punch and Ollongren finishes the takedown easily into guard. Skeet utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Ollongren wants to pass the guard but Skeet is keeping the position. Ollongren postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Ollongren working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Ollongren throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Skeet works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Ollongren passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Ollongren lands a few punches from side control. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ollongren works to advance to full mount. Skeet defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Skeet is breathing heavily. Ollongren landing strikes from the mount and Skeet is in trouble! Ollongren is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Skeet has managed to escape the submission attempt.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Ollongren is landing with some decent strikes but Skeet is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Ollongren lands a nice shot to the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ollongren lands a nice short elbow. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Ollongren lands strikes from half guard. Skeet knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ollongren on the ground. Ollongren scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Skeet on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Skeet tries to get out of the position. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ollongren is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

and Abadi makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Trill really felt that one! Wow, both these guys are really going for it! A head kick from Abadi lands but Trill takes it in his stride. Andrew Trill seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Abadi connects with a solid leg kick. Abadi lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Abadi throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Trill stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Abadi. Trill on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Abadi throws a head kick that Trill semi-blocks.
A head kick from Abadi lands but Trill takes it in his stride. The fight moves into the clinch position. Trill is trying to force a seperation but Abadi has the dominant position. Abadi breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Abadi lands a nice leg kick that just misses Trill's sensitive parts. Abadi feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Trill's calf. Abadi throws a head kick that Trill semi-blocks.
Trill is rocked! Abadi scores with a slapping inside leg kick. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Trill tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Trill has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Abadi. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Abadi. Trill shrugs it off though. Abadi lands a high kick!
Trill is still on wobbly legs! Can Abadi finish him? Trill gets hit by the mother of all head kicks and drops to the canvas in a crumpled heap! Woooow, the Internet is going to be talking about this one for weeks!
