Meier comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Cant be touched kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Bashir lunges at Meier with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Meier's hand.
Meier tries to clinch up
and Bashir counters with a right hand to the body.
Meier is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Bashir lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Meier is rocked!

It looks like Tyler Meier has been cut.
Meier swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Bashir counters with a right hand to the body.
Meier is still on wobbly legs! Can Bashir finish him?

Bashir lands with a shot to the body.
Meier seems to have recovered his senses.
Bashir throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Meier crashing down! Meier tries to stagger back to his feet but Bashir just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Meier asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.

Backer has chosen 100 million dollars as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. On his way into the cage it seems that Michael Scott has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Michael Scott seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Scott pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Backer throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Scott throws the left hand but Backer avoids the punch easily.
Backer ducks under a wild hook from Scott.
Scott lands a jab-cross combination.
Scott scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Scott looks to land a combination but Backer avoids it well.
Scott swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Some wild striking there from Scott.
Scott scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Scott throws a right and a left that Backer avoids nicely.
Scott lands with a hook. Backer tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Backer looks for a takedown but Scott sprawls well.

Backer postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Scott is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Backer, into his guard.

Backer is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Scott defends well.

Backer is looking for a triangle but Scott pushes his legs off easily.

Backer working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Scott doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Scott manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Scott wants to stand but Backer has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Backer has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Scott can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Backer manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Scott manages to get himself to full guard.

Backer drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Backer jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Backer is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Scott has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Backer off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
