Tua throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
enabling Davis to counter with a crisp jab.
Davis changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tua tries to avoid it but Davis manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tua to the ground. Tua escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Davis should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

and Tua counters with a left and a right that stings Davis.
Nice uppercut there from Tua.
Tua swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Davis.
Tua fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Davis takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

It looks like Ivan Davis has been cut.
Davis shoots in but Tua avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Maunu Tua has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ivan Davis.

Maunu Tua seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
