5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Great Dane! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, John Mangel and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rayson is looking to land body kicks. Rayson displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Dane throws out the jab. Rayson scores with a kick to the body.
Rayson fails with an attempt to clinch.
Rayson scores with a kick to the midsection. Dane dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Rayson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Dane. Rayson misses with a lunging right hand
and Dane counters with a stiff right hand. Rayson wants to clinch up but Dane keeps it at a distance. Dane avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Dane is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Dane throws a lazy uppercut
and Rayson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
That's one minute gone in the round. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Rayson. Rayson connects with a single shot there. Rayson fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Rayson misses with a two punch combination.
Rayson throws a series of punches but Dane moves out of range. Nice defenses there by Rayson. A big left from Dane misses. Rayson throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Dane counters with a three punch combo that has Rayson backing up. Rayson nods at Dane to acknowledge the strikes. Dane takes a swing at Rayson's ribcage but misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rayson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Rayson is looking to clinch but Dane is avoiding it.
Rayson takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Dane misses with a combination
and Rayson makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Dane misses with a left hand and Rayson counters with a slapping leg kick. A nice combination there by Dane.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Dane slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Rayson is rocked! Rayson drops his hands for a split second and Dane immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Rayson face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Dane follows up with a right hand that knocks Rayson into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rose looks to land a left hand but House moved out of range nicely. Rose defends well against a solid takedown attempt from House. House gets tackled into the cage by Rose. Rose maintains the clinch. House wants a takedown.
House is trying to drag Rose to the mat but Rose just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Cory Rose has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James House. House wants a takedown but no success here.
House is working for takedown but Rose is calmly controlling the position for now. Rose tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Rose gets underhooks to prevent House's takedown attempt.
Rose breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Nice body punch from Rose. Rose missing with a left hand there. House was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. House has his takedown stuffed and Rose makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. House looks gassed! Rose scores with a punch to the head.
It looks like James House has been cut. Rose catches House with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and House forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ribrisko shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Gleeson's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ribrisko is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Gleeson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ribrisko gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Gleeson is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Ribrisko has his hands clasped together but Gleeson extends an breaks Ribrisko's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Gleeson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cabbat cracks Green with an open hand slap. Cabbat misses with a combination
so Green counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Cabbat has his foot on Green's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Green works his way back into a safe position though. Green avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Boorg thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Ovrut's head. Boorg thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Boorg is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Ishmael Boorg was stalling too much, according to the referee. Ovrut misses with a lunging right hand
and Boorg makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Ovrut really felt that one! Boorg lands a nice leg kick that just misses Ovrut's sensitive parts. Mark Ovrut is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Ovrut throws a lazy uppercut
and Boorg counters with a nice body shot. Boorg shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ovrut pinned against the cage. Ovrut gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Boorg clinches up against the cage. Boorg lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Boorg using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Ovrut wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Ovrut is trying to break the clinch but Boorg has him pressed against the cage. Ovrut looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Boorg working Ovrut over with knees to the body. Ovrut is breathing heavily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Boorg has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Ovrut clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Boorg trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Ovrut doesn't escape. Ovrut rolls, trying to escape but Boorg keeps control of the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's one minute gone in the round. Ovrut misses with a right hand and Boorg counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Ovrut! Boorg controlling his opponent. Boorg looking to ground and pound but Ovrut is blocking nicely.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Darwin misses the body punch and Lee counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Lee's jab looks to have found its range, popping Darwin under the eye. Darwin throws a sloppy body shot
and Lee counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Darwin throws a poor cross that misses
and Lee counters with a left to the body. Lee fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Victor Darwin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Darwin misses with a jab to the body
and Lee counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Lee is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Lee takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Darwin misses with a left hand and Lee counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Darwin throws a left and a right that both miss
and Lee counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Darwin lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Lee closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Lee sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Darwin is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

Darwin controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Darwin might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lee wants to control but Darwin is keeping him busy. Lee cracks Darwin with an elbow. That is naaassty.
It looks like Victor Darwin has been cut. Lee tries to move into full mount but can't pass Darwin's legs. Lee throws a strike aimed at the side of Darwin's head but Darwin avoids it well.

Lee thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Lee looks to land a strike but Darwin avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Lee throws a strike but Darwin rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Lee manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Darwin manages to get himself to full guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Africanus closes the distance but Tua moves to the side enabling Tua to counter with a crisp jab. Africanus tries to close the distance and clinch but Tua swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Tua stuns Africanus with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

11 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Percival Pickervance! The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Steve Erwin and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Numb shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Pickervance is in all sorts of trouble here.
Numb throws some wild stikes that Pickervance manages to avoid easily.

Numb is working for a guillotine from mount but Pickervance frees his head quite easily.
Numb has hold of Pickervance's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Pickervance manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Pickervance is desperately trying to improve his position but Numb has a good base and remains in mount. Numb trying to control but he's not successful this time. Numb is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Pickervance is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Numb with shots to the head and body - Pickervance looks very uncomfortable down there. Numb has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Numb working for a submission but Pickervance is keeping him at bay. Numb scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Pickervance?

Numb avoids the attempt from Pickervance to control. Numb throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Numb takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Pickervance is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Pickervance is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Numb sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Numb wants to clinch up but Pickervance keeps it at a distance. A chopping leg kick lands by Numb. Numb scores to the head and body with a nice combination! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Numb is looking to clinch. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pickervance swings away with a leg kick that misses. Pickervance fails in his attempt to clinch. Numb walks into a jab. Numb swings and misses with a shot to the body and Pickervance counters with a thumping low kick. Numb misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Pickervance.

and Numb counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Numb is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Pickervance has managed to free his arm - good work. Numb thows a huge punch but Pickervance dodges it nicely.
Pickervance is staying active underneath Numb, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Pickervance is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Numb trying to control the action but Pickervance is working from the bottom. Uncomfortably Numb overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Numb prevents Pickervance from improving his position. Numb is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Pickervance is just riding it out for now. Numb eventually gives up the hold.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Numb passes to full mount! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Numb lands a heavy elbow. Pickervance is controlling an arm, preventing Numb from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
Numb quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Numb but it's paid off an Pickervance is forced to tap! Nice work by Numb.
