 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wapner tries to clinch up and Harrikari counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.  The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Baaden steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Chong. Chong misses with the combination.
Baaden looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Baaden throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Baaden missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Baaden stalling away here and it's allowed Chong to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Baaden throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Chong works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Chong utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Baaden postures up.

Baaden has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Chong works a leg free and moves into half guard. Chong throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Baaden is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Chong is fighting to maintain full guard but Baaden has managed to sneak the leg through. Chong is trying is best to control the position here. Baaden lands strikes from half guard. Baaden thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Chong's head.

Chong keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Chong tries to kick Baaden off but Baaden keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Baaden lands with a punch from half guard. Chong taking some punishment here, with Baaden in his half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Baaden wants to lay and pray for a moment but Chong keeps working. Chong tries to roll over but Baaden keeps him under control. Baaden missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Baaden looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Chong with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Thompson lands a nice hook to Crocker's body. Crocker takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Thompson lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Thompson lands with a hook. Crocker tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Crocker takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Thompson connects with a body shot. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Thompson, as that shot connected.

Zornach shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Takanen eats them both and turns towards Zornach to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Zornach avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Zornach seems to have got his legs back now. Takanen clobbers Zornach with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Takanen lands a big right hook! Zornach looks hurt but is still standing! Takanen lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Zornach falls down and Takanen dives in with a huge hammer fist! Zornach's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Takanen runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!

Lopez throws a sloppy head kick and Weed cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Lopez stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Weed. Weed looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Weed throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Lopez sees it coming and avoids it easily. Weed listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Lopez misses with a right hand and Weed counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. A lazy body kick from Weed and Lopez counters with an outside leg kick.

Weed lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Weed keeping moving, preventing Lopez from controlling successfully.

And that's the end of the fight! Tyrel Sackett showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Sackett, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
