A fine choice. Anderson has chosen You're Going Down as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Eliza Hachem and Summer Carpenter.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Childs turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Walsh with a lazy takedown attempt
and Childs counters with a head kick. That will keep Walsh thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Walsh with a poor takedown
and Childs counters with a left to the body.
Childs throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Walsh tries for a takedown but Childs circles away easily
and Childs counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brian Walsh. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Walsh gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Childs counters with a head kick that drops Walsh to the mat! Walsh scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Walsh is breathing heavily.
Walsh shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Childs makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Childs displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Walsh.
Childs throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
A combination from Childs does no damage.
Childs misses with a head kick.
A slapping leg kick lands for Childs.
Childs lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Childs, right into the meat.

Childs lands a big head kick that sends Walsh tumbling to the mat! Childs takes a step backwards and waves Walsh back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Walsh is rocked!

It looks like Brian Walsh has been cut.
A head kick by Childs - that's a beauty! Walsh is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Childs can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
