Gale throws a front kick aimed at Down's knee but Down avoids it well.

Gale tries to land a front kick but Down steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Gale stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Down is defended easily by Gale.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Down feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Thomas looks to land a combination. Stone sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Stone is trying hard to land a takedown here. Thomas sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Stone drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Stone jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Thomas is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
A looping hook to the body misses from Thomas. Stone does a little dance to reset his feet.

Stone finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
