The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Madison fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Rovaldo avoids it really well and circles away. Madison takes a kick to the side of the head. No luck with that takedown attempt from Madison. Rovaldo lands a high kick!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Madison is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Rovaldo moves in looking to clinch but Madison pushes him off. Madison avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Emerson Rovaldo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Madison fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Rovaldo goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Madison shoots in and drives through. Rovaldo sprawls well. Rovaldo tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Madison paws at him with a jab and circles away. Madison changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rovaldo tries to avoid it but Madison manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rovaldo to the ground. Rovaldo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tarbois throws a series of punches but Dupri avoids them all with ease. Horrible takedown by Dupri or perhaps it was just good defense by Tarbois which made him look bad. Dupri swats away the attempt to clinch by Tarbois. Tarbois tries to close the distance and clinch but Dupri swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Tarbois scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Nice takedown defense from Tarbois. No joy for Dupri on that attempt. Tarbois misses with a head kick.

Fransson uses his free foot to push down on shinault's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for shinault. shinault is trying to escape the mount.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wild throws a leg kick but Burrows checks it. Wild tries to clinch but Burrows is having none of it. The fight stays on the outside here - Wild looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Nice jab there from Wild.
It looks like Alexandre Burrows has been cut. The fight moves into the clinch position. Burrows pulls guard. Wild wants to stand but Burrows is controlling his posture from full guard. Burrows trying to keep a closed guard but Wild is proving a slippery customer.
