0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Lincoln Burrows! The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Eliza Hachem and Steve Erwin.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Danga de danga de dang - Burrows scores with a four punch combination! Kastas takes a shot right to the bread basket. Kastas on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Kastas drives through and clinches with Burrows against the cage.
Kastas escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Kastas will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Burrows up against the cage.
Kastas's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Burrows misses with a wild combination.

Kastas shoots in and bounces Burrows off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Burrows wants to sweep but no luck.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Burrows keeping moving, preventing Kastas from controlling successfully. Burrows has a closed guard, preventing Kastas from standing up. Burrows has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Kastas has passed into side control.
Burrows tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Kastas wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Kastas tries to advance to mount but Burrows denies him. Burrows really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kastas. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Kastas has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Burrows!
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Kastas looking to control and managing it successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Burrows taking shots to the head.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Kastas controlling from mount. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Lincoln Burrows will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Horrible takedown by Kastas or perhaps it was just good defense by Burrows which made him look bad. Kastas takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Burrows moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
 It looks like Kon Kastas has been cut. Burrows with a nice cross. No luck for Kastas with that takedown attempt. Burrows lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Kastas moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Burrows lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Burrows. Burrows swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Kastas. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A right-left combo lands from Burrows. Burrows bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Kastas's head backwards. Burrows feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Kastass jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Burrows scores with a jab to the jaw.
 Kastas is rocked! Burrows throws a right hand that Kastas ducks under and follows up with a left that Kastas also avoids with ease. Burrows throws a nice looking combination but Kastas bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Kastas shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Burrows as he avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kon Kastas. That's going to take a lot out of him. Burrows throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Burrows dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Lincoln Burrows seems to be getting the better of the standup. Burrows throws a one two combo.

Kastas backs away looking to recover. Burrows cracks Kastas with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Lincoln Burrows is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Kastas is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Oh Kastas is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Burrows lands a big right hand that sends Kastas crashing to the mat! Burrows stays standing though and waves Kastas back to his feet! Burrows lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Burrows. Nice uppercut lands for Burrows. That snapped Kastas's head back.
Kastas gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Burrows connects with a stiff jab that staggers Kastas - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!

Sonicboom changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Miller looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Sonicboom tries to advance position but instead Miller slips a leg back in to half guard. Sonicboom is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard. Sonicboom throwing strikes from guard but Miller blocks nicely. Sonicboom won't allow Miller to sweep him here. Sonicboom looking to pass the guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Miller is on top in guard.

Miller is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Miller is figuring out what he wants to do next. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Miller is looking for a kimura but Sonicboom is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Miller to get the leverage. Miller performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Miller seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Sonicboom for as long as he can get away with. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Sonicboom can do anything to dispel that myth. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
 The ref stands the fighters back up because Jim Miller just wasn't active enough. Miller misses with a few strikes there.

Raevsky feints a jab promting The Ripper to slip. Raevsky then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. The Ripper slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Raevsky tests The Ripper's chin there with a solid looking shot. A punch combination from Raevsky misses. A decent looking cross lands there for Raevsky. The Ripper has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Raevsky shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. The Ripper eats them both and turns towards Raevsky to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Raevsky closes the distance and lands a one-two.

The Ripper postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Raevsky is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of The Ripper, into his guard. The Ripper throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Raevsky decides to stand back up. The Ripper is trying hard to land a takedown here. Raevsky sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. The Ripper shoots in for a takedown. Raevsky pushes down on The Ripper's head and hops out. Alexander Raevsky has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack The Ripper. Raevsky cracks The Ripper with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The Duke closes the distance looking to clinch enabling Jong Dong to counter with a crisp jab. Jong Dong shoots in looking for a takedown but The Duke manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jong Dong's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Jong Dong circles away from the clinch attempt
and Jong Dong counters with a takedown into side control. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jong Dong happy to just control the position for now. Jong Dong working the ground and pound.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Jong Dong controls the position from side control. The Duke takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. The Duke really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jong Dong. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Jong Dong taking a breather here. Jong Dong scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at The Duke to see if he's OK. Jong Dong has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Jong Dong is putting a hurting on The Duke here, landing some big shots from side control. Jong Dong moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.

The Duke looks to move to half guard but instead Jong Dong has passed into mount! Damn! Jong Dong content just to control the position here. Jong Dong seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down The Duke for as long as he can get away with.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Jong Dong has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Jong Dong really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
 We're going to have a standup here because Kim Jong Dong wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Jong Dong shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in The Duke's guard. The Duke can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Jong Dong controls the pace. The Duke wants to get back to his feet but Jong Dong is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Jong Dong sitting in guard, not really doing much. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.

Jong Dong is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Kim Jong Dong overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Jong Dong's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jong Dong working over The Duke with some ground and pound. The Duke looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Jong Dong takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Kim Jong Dong. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jong Dong is defended easily by The Duke. The Duke throws a sloppy head kick and Jong Dong moves out of range easily. Kim Jong Dong is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. A solid leg kick lands there for The Duke.

and Jong Dong counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jong Dong is taking a breather. The Duke says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. The Duke is trying to stand.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. Jong Dong breaks from The Duke's wrist control and lands an elbow. Jong Dong postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. The Duke looks a forlorn figure.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Adamek shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Summers counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Summers is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Adamek's half guard. Summers passes the guard and advances to mount! Adamek is working to get back to half guard.
Summers takes Adamek's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Adamek is in trouble. Summers has the hooks in. Adamek is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! MacArthur fails with the takedown and Wallace counters with a nice uppercut. Wallace throws a hook but MacArthur blocks it. Wallace throws an ugly left hook that misses
and MacArthur counters with a two punch combo. Wallace attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Wallace is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by MacArthur. Wallace should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. The fighters circling - Wallace throws out the jab but it was never going to land. MacArthur doesn't succeed with the takedown and MacArthur takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

and MacArthur counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by MacArthur. MacArthur tries to pull guard but Wallace won't allow it.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Pad Digger! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sam Axe! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, John Mangel and Winston Howard.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Axe lands with a right hand. Axe lands with a nice combination. Digger backs away looking to recover. Digger falls off balance throwing a combination
and Axe makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Digger displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Axe throws out the jab.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Axe is trying to push Digger away but Digger has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Axe prevents the takedown attempt.
Axe gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Digger.

Axe works Digger's body with a nice hook. A punch lands to the side of Digger 's head but he takes it in his stride. Horrible takedown by Digger or perhaps it was just good defense by Axe which made him look bad. Axe misses with a double jab.
Axe lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Axe lands a jab. Axe lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
 Digger is rocked!
 It looks like Pad Digger has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Axe lands a nice hook to Digger's body. Digger takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Oh Digger is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Axe connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Digger to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Axe!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gunj misses with a jab, cross combination.
Gracie misses with the combination.
Gracie throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Gunj was covering up waiting for the punch and Gracie finishes the takedown easily into guard. Gracie pushing down on Gunj's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Gunj really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gracie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

and Gracie counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Gracie. Gracie advances position into side control! Gracie working the ground and pound but Gunj is defending the strikes. Gracie misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Gracie tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Gracie has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
