0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Oliver Silver! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Damien Edna and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sutherland darts in and clinches Silver up against the cage. Sutherland's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Sutherland throws a right and a left that Silver avoids nicely. Sutherland works over Silver's head and body with a nice combination.
It looks like Oliver Silver has been cut. Sutherland scores with a kick to the midsection. Silver has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Silver there as he acknowledges the shot. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sutherland throws a right hand that Silver ducks under and follows up with a left that Silver also avoids with ease. Silver throws a sloppy head kick and Sutherland moves out of range easily. Sutherland dives in and grabs Silver's left leg, looking for a takedown. Silver pushes down on Sutherland's head and hops out. Some wild striking there from Sutherland.

and Silver takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Sutherland rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Silver moves out of range and avoids them all easily. That sent Silver stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Craig Sutherland seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sutherland moves into the clinch. Silver tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Silver is fighting off a takedown attempt but Sutherland is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Silver to the mat. Silver regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Sutherland content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Sutherland stands and steps away. Silver gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. John J stuffs the takedown attempt from barker. barker gets slowly back to his feet. John J throws a right and a left that barker avoids nicely. John J throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. barker circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by John J. barker falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for John J!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mafusa displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Henderson. Mafusa keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Mafusa scores with a one two! Henderson had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Henderson takes a kick to the side of the head. Henderson takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Henderson scores a takedown into full mount! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mafusa defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Henderson. This has been an exciting period of action! Henderson moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Mafusa has worked his arm free - good work by Mafusa!

Henderson has an Americana. Mafusa didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Henderson is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Henderson hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Hatter keeps the fight on the outside. Hatter rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but walcott moves out of range and avoids them all easily. walcott closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. walcott escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Hatter throws a wild combination but nothing lands. walcott seems to have got his legs back now.

That's going to take a lot out of him. walcott takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Hatter moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. walcott walks into a left hand. Wooooo! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Archer dives in and grabs Tinkelbery's left leg, looking for a takedown. Tinkelbery pushes down on Archer's head and hops out. Archer fails with a takedown attempt. Archer fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Tragic Tinkelbery has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Glenn Archer. Tinkelbery rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Archer moves out of range and avoids them all easily. That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Some bone on bone action there as Tinkelbery checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Tinkelbery misses with a few strikes there.
Tinkelbery stalks Archer and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Archer's face. Archer staggers backwards, shaken. Archer shoots for a double leg takedown but Tinkelbery sprawls well. He's pushed Archer's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Tinkelbery scores with a one two! Archer had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Horrible takedown by Archer or perhaps it was just good defense by Tinkelbery which made him look bad. Archer on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Tinkelbery. Tinkelbery obviously looking to wear him down.

Archer chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Tinkelbery can pounce on him.
Archer shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Tinkelbery as he avoids it easily. Archer closes the distance and clinches up with Tinkelbery, looking for a takedown. Archer pushes Tinkelbery against the cage but Tinkelbery circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Tinkelbery looks to land a combination. Archer sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Tinkelbery scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Tinkelbery throws a nice looking combination but Archer bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Archer shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Archer was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Archer won't let Tinkelbery get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
