The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silva has closed the distance and engaged Konrad in a clinch.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Me juevos tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Guerrouj counters with an outside leg kick.
Guerrouj circles away from the clinch attempt and Guerrouj counters with a leg kick. Me juevos shoots in but no luck this time. Me juevos misses with a body punch
and Me juevos takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Me juevos throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Guerrouj counters with an outside leg kick.
Me juevos will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Me juevos rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Guerrouj counters with a good, hard body kick but Me juevos shrugs it off. Me juevos takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

That's one minute gone in the round. Me juevos feints and as Guerrouj raises his hands in defense, Me juevos changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Guerrouj avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Me juevos trying to control the position from guard on top but Guerrouj is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Me juevos has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Me juevos prevents Guerrouj from getting back to his feet. Me juevos throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Guerrouj works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Me juevos pushing down on Guerrouj's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Me juevos wants to work for an arm triangle but Guerrouj is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Korsanow throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Weight uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Korsanow.
A nice inside leg kick there by Weight. That's going to slow Korsanow down. Weight throws a head kick but Korsanow moves out of range.
Weight throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

Weight tries to land a leg kick but Korsanow saw it coming and moves away.
Some bone on bone action there as Korsanow checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Korsanow misses with a shot to the body and Weight counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Korsanow is lucky that one didn't land flush. Dougy Weight seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Korsanow just misses with a punch to the body.

Weight has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Korsanow. Oh but Weight has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Korsanow goes limp - he's gone! Weight jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fitch shoots and misses and Hawk moves into the clinch. Hawk lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
It looks like Amarron Fitch has been cut. Hawk has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Fitch regains guard immediately. Fitch has a closed guard, preventing Hawk from standing up. Fitch is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Siet tries for a takedown but Burqa sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Siet takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Burqa's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Burqa duly obliges.

Burqa comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Burqa feints a jab promting Siet to slip. Burqa then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Siet slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Siet throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Burqa's waist but Burqa gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Siet off to one side. Siet darts in trying to clinch and Burqa counters with a right hand to the body. Burqa fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Siet looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. A nice combination there by Burqa.
