The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Viking closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Viking lands in his opponent's guard. Viking trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Viking loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Stanimirovic working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Viking. Viking trying to control the position from guard on top but Stanimirovic is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. A lazy left from Joe Joe jr finds it's target. A head kick misses from Joe Joe jr. Joe Joe jr throws a lazy head kick and Dicks counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Dicks scoring with punches to the head and body. Dicks trying to control the position from guard on top but Joe Joe jr is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Parker ducks under a wild hook from Sakumichi. Jason Parker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Parker slaps away a takedown attempt from Sakumichi, before circling back to the center of the mat. Sakumichi changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Parker tries to avoid it but Sakumichi manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Parker to the ground. Parker escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Parker uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Sakumichi. Sakumichi closes this distance looking for a takedown but Parker circles away. Jason Parker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nao Sakumichi. Sakumichi drives through with a takedown into guard. Sakumichi pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Parker is keeping the position for now. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sakumichi accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crotch throws a lazy right hand but Gongora sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Crotch is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Gongora. Crotch has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Gongora. Crotch misses with a low kick. Crotch throws a hook but Gongora avoids it easily. Gongora thumps Crotch with a low kick. Crotch takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Ouch! a nice leg kick from Gongora, right into the meat.
Gongora uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Crotch. Gongora throws a nice inside leg kick. Crotch takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Crotch throws a jab but it's blocked by Gongora. Gongora ducks under a wild hook from Crotch. Gongora slips a straight right by Crotch. Crotch misses the shot to the body. Crotch has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Gongora. Gongora uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Crotch.
Crotch finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Crotch blocks a head kick by Gongora.
Gongora punishes Crotch's body with a nice straight punch. Left hook, right uppercut from Crotch. Gongora moves in looking to clinch but Crotch pushes him off. Gongora lands with a thumping leg kick.
Gongora closes the distance looking to clinch and Crotch counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crotch has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Gongora. Gongora throws a solid leg kick but Crotch takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Gongora. Crotch scores with a hook to the body. Gongora takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Crotch loads up on a big right hand but Gongora slips the punch. Crotch takes a kick to the side of the head. Crotch misses the jab. Crotch keeps the fight on the outside. Gongora avoids the body shot from Crotch.
Gongora pushes Crotch away with a front kick. Gongora moves away from the strike by Crotch. Crotch avoids the head kick by Gongora.
Gongora will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Gongora is looking to slow Crotch down with leg kicks. Gongora slips under a jab from Crotch. Crotch keeps the fight on the outside. Crotch takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Crotch trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Crotch stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gongora swivels though and keeps the full guard. Gongora working a defensive guard but Crotch passes into half guard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rappaport has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Rappaport there as he acknowledges the shot. Pan scores with a punch to the head. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Pan lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Rappaport has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Rappaport and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Pan's jab looks to have found its range, popping Rappaport under the eye. Pan circles away from the clinch attempt and Pan counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Rappaport. Pan chopping away at his opponent's legs.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rappaport closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Pan quickly recovers to half guard. Rappaport is keen to just control but Pan is a slippery customer. Rappaport scoring with strikes to the body and head.

7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Landon Karcher! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Flux looks for a takedown but Karcher sprawls well. Flux scores a takedown into full mount! Karcher holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Flux tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Karcher tries to hold on but Flux postures up. Karcher is controlling an arm, preventing Flux from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
Flux is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Karcher can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Flux wants to finish this one by submission but Karcher is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Flux. Flux can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Karcher is looking to escape. Flux has hold of Karcher's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Karcher manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Matsumoto misses with an uppercut. Grzyb saw that one coming. A head kick misses from Grzyb. Grzyb gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Matsumoto throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Matsumoto accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Matsumoto tries to free his leg and advance position but Grzyb is retaining full guard. Matsumoto throwing strikes but missing. Matsumoto throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Grzyb working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Matsumoto. Grzyb keeping moving, preventing Matsumoto from controlling successfully. Matsumoto looking to sit in guard and control but Grzyb gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Makao Matsumoto has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Matsumoto throws out a loose jab but Grzyb uses good head movement to avoid it. Matsumoto shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Matsumoto showed some decent athleticism there. Matsumoto is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Grzyb is just riding it out for now. Matsumoto eventually gives up the hold. Grzyb avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Matsumoto.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Grzyb is trying is best to control the position here. Matsumoto throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Matsumoto missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Matsumoto lands with a punch from half guard. Matsumoto uses his free foot to push down on Grzyb's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Grzyb. Matsumoto throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Grzyb is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Matsumoto lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Grzyb is still in real trouble! Can Matsumoto finish him? Matsumoto fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Matsumoto is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Matsumoto extends the arm and Grzyb is forced to tap!
