Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Exu Mor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Brugnolo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brugnolo has chosen Poison - Alice Cooper as his entrance music. Exu Mor had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 206.0lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kevin Brugnolo! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Emerson Jorge and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mor tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Brugnolo was well out of range. Poor timing from Mor. Brugnolo buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Mor fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Brugnolo manages to avoid it. Mor on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Mor throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Mor lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Brugnolo throws a front kick aimed at Mor's knee but Mor avoids it well. Brugnolo fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Mor. Brugnolo has closed the distance and engaged Mor in a clinch.

Brugnolo continues to stall. The referee tells him to work or he's going to break them up. Brugnolo lands with a short punch from the clinch.

It looks like Exu Mor has been cut. Brugnolo lands a shot to the body. Mor is breathing heavily. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Brugnolo scores with a knee to the head.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Brugnolo postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Brugnolo with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Brugnolo trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Mor utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Brugnolo keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Mor's head. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Brugnolo is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Mor knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Brugnolo on the ground. Brugnolo sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Mor's guard. Brugnolo controlling the action here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Let's hope that Brugnolo has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Mor avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Brugnolo.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Brugnolo thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Mor's head. Brugnolo moves nicely into side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Brugnolo is working Mor over with some ground and pound from side control. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Mor managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Brugnolo.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Mor taking a bit of punishment here - Brugnolo scoring with strikes.
Exu Mor's cut is getting worse. Brugnolo throws an elbow but Mor slips to the side and avoids it well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mor has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Brugnolo. Mor looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Brugnolo lands a leg kick that knocks Mor off balance momentarily. Mor takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Brugnolo. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Brugnolo thuds his shin into the meat of Mor's side. Brugnolo is looking to slow Mor down with leg kicks. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Mor crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Brugnolo - the referee stops the clock and Mor gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Brugnolo. Mor manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Brugnolo moves into the clinch. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Brugnolo gets a trip takedown into half guard. Brugnolo working over Mor with some ground and pound. Mor looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Brugnolo is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Mor has managed to free his arm - good work. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Brugnolo in particular looking to stall. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brugnolo lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Exu Mor's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Brugnolo passes to full mount! Brugnolo has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Brugnolo dominating with strikes here.
Jeez, Exu Mor's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Bender, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
