The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kildahl shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Rando defends it nicely. Rando moves to clinch but Kildahl breaks away and Kildahl counters with a nice double leg into guard. Kildahl showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Kildahl trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Rando preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Rando knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kildahl on the ground. Kildahl controlling from the top position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Sam Kildahl was stalling too much, according to the referee. Kildahl with a lazy takedown attempt and Rando counters with a big head kick but Kildahl shrugs it off. Rando tries to clinch up and Kildahl counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Rando! Kildahl takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Kildahl content to control rather than advance. Kildahl is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Rando doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. Sam Kildahl showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Kildahl shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Kildahl is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Rando is just riding it out for now. Kildahl eventually gives up the hold. Kildahl missing with the ground and pound from half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kildahl is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. You can see the frustration on Rando's face as Kildahl controls the position. Kildahl wants to lay and pray for a moment but Rando keeps working. Kildahl goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Rando has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Kildahl but great work by Rando. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Kildahl is trying to buck Rando off.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kildahl throws Rando to one side and escapes! Kildahl scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Kildahl content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Kildahl passes the guard and advances to mount! Sam Kildahl is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Kildahl misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rattallan tries to close the distance and clinch up but Norris swats him away and circles back towards the center. Rattallan closes the distance and clinches up with Norris, looking for a takedown. Rattallan pushes Norris against the cage but Norris circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Rattallan shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Rattallan was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Rattallan with good strikes from the mount here! Rattallan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Norris. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Rattallan lands a nice shot to the head. Rattallan postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Norris bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Rattallan and the fight is over!
