Couza pushes Rad up against the cage in a clinch. Couza works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Couza drops back, looking for a kneebar! Rad looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Rad looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Rad! Rad working the ground and pound but Couza is defending the strikes. Couza is looking to regain half guard here but Rad keeps moving and retains side control. Rad throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Rad trying to control the action but Couza is working from the bottom. The strikes coming from Rad are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rad goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Couza has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Rad but great work by Couza. Couza in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Couza in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. You can see the frustration on Rad's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Couza fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Couza is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Rad is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Couza is working Rad over with some ground and pound from side control. An elbow from Couza crashes against the mat.

It's a sloppy attempt though and Couza jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Couza throws a strike but Rad rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Rad trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Rad is looking to advance position but Couza has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Rad sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Satur throws a shot to the body.
Satur tries to clinch and Villar counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Satur throws a head kick but Villar moves out of range.
Both fighters circling a little - Satur finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Satur tries to clinch up but Villar circles away and keeps his distance. Villar takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Villar looks gassed! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Villar on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Satur. Satur obviously looking to wear him down.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Satur! Villar is out on his feet! Satur rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Villar is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Villar is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gaggenwanker decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Gaggenwanker scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Gaggenwanker throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Gaggenwanker is trying to work for a kimura but Martyn is defending well.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Gaggenwanker in particular looking to stall. Martyn pushes Gaggenwanker off looking to stand but Gaggenwanker dives back in and keeps control.
Still in half guard, Gaggenwanker seems content to control. Gaggenwanker missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Gaggenwanker wants to lay and pray for a moment but Martyn keeps working. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Greg Gaggenwanker. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Gaggenwanker. Gaggenwanker looks to clinch and Martyn counters with a lovely straight right hand! Martyn shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Gaggenwanker's guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Martyn cracks Gaggenwanker with a solid left hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gaggenwanker had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Martyn defends it easily. Gaggenwanker working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Martyn doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Martyn manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Martyn content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Gaggenwanker working for a triangle but Martyn defends it easily.
Martyn really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gaggenwanker. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Gaggenwanker trying to keep a closed guard but Martyn is proving a slippery customer.
Martyn drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Gaggenwanker manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Martyn has Gaggenwanker in his guard. Gaggenwanker stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Martyn swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gaggenwanker advances to half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Martyn tries to kick Gaggenwanker off but Gaggenwanker keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Gaggenwanker thows a huge punch but Martyn dodges it nicely.
Martyn controlling the position well. Martyn is trying to stand.
Martyn looks gassed! Gaggenwanker sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Martyn defending well though. Gaggenwanker seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Martyn is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
