2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mads Soren Kassler! The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Illya Tyunina and Dmitry Maklakov.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kassler gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Gusano counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Gusano could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Gusano is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Mads Soren Kassler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kassler thows a leg kick but Gusano checks it and Gusano connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Gusano scores with a shot to the body.
Kassler shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Kassler shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Kassler was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Kassler tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Kassler's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Kassler tries to control but Gusano wriggling away. Gusano squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.

Gusano is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Kassler can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Gusano is looking to escape.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Gusano is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Kassler is working for a guillotine from mount but Gusano frees his head quite easily.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Kassler sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Poor strikes thrown by Kassler there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Kassler looking for a guillotine from mount but Gusano is having none of it. Gusano is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Gusano might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Kassler trying to control but he's not successful this time.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Kassler has control of Gusano's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Gusano regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Gusano is squirming around, avoiding Kassler's attempts to control the action. Gusano really wants to buck Kassler off and get back to his feet. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Gusano avoids a series of strikes thrown by Kassler.

Nice body punch from Gusano. Gusano fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Kassler looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Kassler shoots and misses and Gusano counters with a left to the body. Kassler doesn't succeed with the takedown and Gusano counters with a head kick. Gusano lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Kassler on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Gusano throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Mads Soren Kassler is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Kassler throws a lazy head kick and Gusano makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Gusano jabs at Kassler's body. Gusano throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Kassler. Gusano throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Gusano lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Kassler steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Gusano. That one must have hurt. Gusano changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Gusano is looking to wear down Kassler with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Gusano turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Kassler is breathing heavily.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Gusano lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Kassler at a distance.
Kassler shoots and misses and Gusano counters with a head kick. That will keep Kassler thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Lucas Gusano has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mads Soren Kassler. Gusano feints and then cracks Kassler's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kassler down. Lucas Gusano is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Gusano scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Kassler doesn't seem bothered though. Kassler takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Kassler has his takedown stuffed and Gusano counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Kassler misses with a takedown attempt and Gusano counters with a head kick. That will keep Kassler thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Gusano changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Kassler has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Gusano.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Nice body punch from Gusano. Gusano lands a jab to Kassler's midsection. Kassler throws a sloppy head kick and Gusano counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Kassler is lucky that one didn't land flush. Gusano throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Kassler. Decent striking displayed by Gusano there. A jab from Gusano finds it's way through Kassler's defenses. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. That kick from Gusano tenderised Kassler's leg. Kassler is trying to keep his angry face on. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kassler takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.

Gusano lands with a nice body kick. Kassler takes a kick to the side of the head. Kassler misses with a takedown attempt and Gusano counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Gusano pushes Kassler away with a front kick. Kassler throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Gusano counters with a head kick. That will keep Kassler thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Kassler on the wrong end of a nice hook. Gusano thumps Kassler with a low kick. Kassler takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Gusano connects with a high kick.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Gusano throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Kassler misses with a takedown and Kassler takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Gusano scores with a head kick. Kassler tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Gusano explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Gusano throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Kassler stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Gusano thuds his right hand into Kassler's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. A nice inside leg kick there by Gusano. That's going to slow Kassler down.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Kassler wants to clinch but Gusano slips to the side and Gusano counters with a good, hard body kick but Kassler shrugs it off. Gusano scores with a kick to the midsection. Gusano smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Gusano moves into range and connects with a jab. Gusano throws a nice head kick!

Lucas Gusano is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Gusano lands a head kick. Kassler smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Gusano connects with a body shot. A left lands for Gusano.

Gusano circles away from the clinch attempt and Gusano counters with a nice body shot. Gusano tries a head kick but it misses.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Petreski looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Maximus is fending him off so far but Petreski persists. Nope, Maximus circles away and we're back to standing. A kick lands to the mid section there for Maximus . Maximus fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Petreski shoots in looking for a takedown. Maximus tries to sprawl out of it but Petreski keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Maximus manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Petreski gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Maximus counters with a right hand to the body. Melvis Maximus has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vlad Petreski. Petreski with a lazy takedown attempt and Petreski takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Maximus throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Petreski stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Petreski looks gassed! Maximus connects with a body shot that sends Petreski's belly button to the back. Petreski takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Maximus , as that shot connected.
This has been an exciting period of action! Maximus throws a shot to the body.
Maximus throws a combination. Petreski tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Maximus scores with a hook to the body. Petreski takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Maximus is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
 Petreski is rocked! Petreski drops his hands momentarily and Maximus needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Petreski just on the top of the head. Petreski drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Petreski - he's done!

 It looks like Saha Dubov has been cut. Fail lands with a nice combination. Dubov backs away looking to recover. Dubov really is a fat lump. Dubov throws a combination that misses and Fail counters with a one-two to the body. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Dubov is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Fail moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones looks to score with a jab to the body but Ant is just out of range.
Ant closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Ant controlling the action here.
Ant looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Jones is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Jones has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Ant is working away from the top position though. Jones won't allow Ant to pass to mount.

Shu stumbles back against the ropes, looking to regain his senses but Flippaloss is on him like rabid pit bull! Shu slumps to the ground under a storm of punches and this fight is over!

Bera stalling away here and it's allowed Halilov to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Halilov wants to sweep but no luck. Halilov is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Bera postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Bera trying to control the position from guard on top but Halilov is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bera has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Bera is in close to Halilov's body, working some short punches and elbows. Halilov trying to keep a closed guard but Bera is proving a slippery customer.
