Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rick Ward (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hoss Rollins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ward kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Tap Out. Hoss Rollins looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ward is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Rollins.
It looks like Rick Ward has been cut. Ward drives through with a takedown into guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Ward loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Ward trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Ward is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Ward passes into half guard. Ward in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Rollins tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Ward!

1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Igor Malikov! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Frank Dennis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Malikov closes the distance and clinches up with Reign, looking for a takedown. Malikov pushes Reign against the cage but Reign circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Malikov keeps the fight on the outside. Malikov has a takedown stuffed. Some wild striking there from Reign.
Malikov will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Kolliver Reign has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Igor Malikov. Malikov scores with a jab. Reign acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Reign connects with a right hand. Malikov shakes it off. A shot to the liver by Reign. Beautiful body shot. No luck for Malikov with that takedown attempt. Reign shoots in looking for a takedown. Malikov tries to sprawl out of it but Reign keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Malikov manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Reign shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Malikov as he avoids it easily. Decent striking displayed by Reign there. Malikov moves forwards but Reign connects with a nice, crisp jab. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Reign will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Reign is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Malikov gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Malikov has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Reign is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Reign has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Malikov avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Malikov is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Malikov holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Reign has Malikov pressed against the cage, preventing Malikov from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Malikov drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Reign is breathing heavily. Reign goes for a takedown attempt but Malikov pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Reign tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Malikov swivels and escapes. Malikov throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Reign lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Malikov slaps away a takedown attempt from Reign, before circling back to the center of the mat. Reign misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Malikov.
Reign closes this distance looking for a takedown but Malikov circles away. No luck with that takedown attempt from Malikov. Igor Malikov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Reign closes the distance and clinches up with Malikov, looking for a takedown. Reign pushes Malikov against the cage but Malikov circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Malikov clinches up with Reign and pushes him back against the cage. Malikov is pressed up against the cage. Reign has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Malikov down to the mat. Malikov avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Malikov misses with the combination.

Malikov fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Malikov throws a combination that misses so Reign counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Malikov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Reign. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Malikov working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Reign doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Reign manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Reign throwing strikes from guard but Malikov blocks nicely. Reign sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Malikov's guard. Malikov keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Reign trying to control the action but Malikov is working from the bottom. Reign thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Malikov is defending against the submission attempts here by Reign.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reign is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Reign is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Malikov has managed to free his arm - good work. Reign is trying to work for a kimura but Malikov is defending well.
Reign throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Reign seems to be working for a kimura but Malikov defends the submission attempt. Malikov is looking to control Reign's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Malikov avoid being mounted?

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Reign is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Reign!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wang shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Prime pinned against the cage. Prime gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Wang will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Prime moves into the clinch successfully.

Rodimus Prime has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chicken Wang. Wang is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Wang wants a takedown but no success here.
Wang has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Prime clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Wang misses with a punch to the head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Prime staying busy and making it hard for Wang to control. Prime is trying to stand back up. Prime covering up well under a series of strikes from Wang. Prime tries to roll but Wang sticks to his back.

That's one minute gone in the round. Prime manages to reverse the position and now he's in Wang's guard. Nice work there by Prime.
Prime stays in close to Wang's body and controls the position. Prime wants to stand but Wang is controlling his posture from full guard. Prime looking to sit in guard and control but Wang gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Wang slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Prime taking a bit of punishment here - Wang scoring with strikes. Prime tries to get back to half guard but can't. Wang in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Wang trying to control the action but Prime is working from the bottom. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Wang landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Wang just content to control the position. Prime is trying to get back to half guard. Prime sneaks back into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Prime has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Wang is working away from the top position though. Prime wants to improve his position but Wang is controlling well.

Prime wants to improve his position but Wang is controlling well.
Prime is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Wang scores with a couple of nice shots. Wang wants to lay and pray for a moment but Prime keeps working. Ground and pound from Wang. Wang slows the pace down in half guard. Prime pushes Wang off looking to stand but Wang dives back in and keeps control.

Chicken Wang dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Rodimus Prime. Wang gets caught napping as Prime dives in and scores a takedown. Wang manages to retain guard. Prime stands up from guard. Let's bang! Wang with a poor takedown and Prime counters with a nice leg kick. Rodimus Prime has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chicken Wang. Prime fails with an attempt to clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Prime tries to free his leg and advance position but Wang is retaining full guard. Wang wants to sweep but no luck. Prime has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Wang is proving hard to escape from. Prime pushes down on Wang's leg and manages to get into half guard. Prime throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Prime missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Prime not landing any meaningful shots this time. Wang keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Prime throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Wang regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Prime. Prime sitting in guard, not really doing much. Prime has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Wang is proving hard to escape from.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Wang is looking to sweep but instead, Prime has passed into half guard.
Prime tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Wang. Wang won't allow Prime to pass to mount. Rodimus Prime has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Chicken Wang is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Prime is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
And that's the end of the fight! Rodimus Prime showed his dominance in that final round. I think Wang has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Vass rolls with it to try and escape but Shepherd cranks on the arm and Vass is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

Porter struggling to land strikes to the head as Llashley covers up. Porter somehow managing to miss with a strike from the back. Porter has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Llashley. Porter will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Covers lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Covers throws a hook to the side of Strenk's head but Strenk sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Strenk staying out of range there. Strenk throws a leg kick which misses Covers's front leg but catches the back leg as Covers tries to avoid it. Covers blocks a head kick by Strenk.

Strenk is rocked! Covers takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Oh Strenk is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Steven Strenk's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Strenk takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Covers ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Strenk's jaw. Strenk's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold!
