OK we're going to have a standup here. Rowan Savage hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

I would just about give that final round to Rowan Savage.

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jebidiah Tayber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve McGrace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steve McGrace struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 157.2lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Jebidiah Tayber has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGrace takes one to the chin there.
McGrace looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
McGrace doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Tayber counters with a nice low kick that buckles McGrace's knee momentarily.
Tayber lands a body shot.
McGrace takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Tayber closes the distance and clinches.
Tayber lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt McGrace or not.
A right hand to the body from Tayber.
Tayber lands an elbow that stopped McGrace in his tracks for a moment.

Tayber tightens his grip and picks McGrace up, before dumping him to the ground. McGrace manages to land in guard.
Tayber slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tayber postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. McGrace looks a forlorn figure.

Tayber takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

McGrace is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Tayber locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! McGrace is forced to tap!
