The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rohkea fails with a takedown attempt. Name scores with a punch to the head. Name misses with a head kick.

Yen throws a quick inside leg kick. That kick from Yen tenderised Some's leg. Some is trying to keep his angry face on. Yen buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Yen scores with a kick to the midsection. Yen jabs at Some's body. This has been an exciting period of action! Nice sprawl there from Yen as Some shoots in. Some looks gassed! Yen throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Yen chopping away at his opponent's legs.

Some sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Yen throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Some. Some's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Yen throws a nice inside leg kick. Yen has closed the distance and engaged Some in a clinch.
Yen lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Yen lands an elbow that stopped Some in his tracks for a moment. Some takes an elbow to the temple. Yen with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Yen unloads a knee to the mid-section. Yen lands an elbow just above Some 's eye.

It looks like Trouble Some has been cut. Yen crunches a lovely knee into Some's ribcage. Some is still on wobbly legs! Can Yen finish him? Yen has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head that stumbles Some - he's in trouble! Another big knee to the head from Yen , and another! Some is out on his feet - the ref jumps in to save him and ends the fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Puukko throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. An inside leg kick from Silva misses. Puukko throws a head kick that misses. Silva tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Hernanes Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Silva keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Silva misses with a leg kick and Puukko counters with a big head kick but Silva shrugs it off. A low kick from Silva is predictable there and Puukko counters with a nice uppercut. Silva moves in looking to clinch but Puukko pushes him off. Puukko throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Puukko throws a series of punches but Silva moves out of range. A solid leg kick lands there for Silva.
Puukko looks gassed! Puukko checks a leg kick nicely. Silva tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Puukko manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Silva looks to clinch and Puukko counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Silva throws a nice outside leg kick. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Silva lands a nice leg kick that just misses Puukko's sensitive parts. Silva lands a leg kick that knocks Puukko off balance momentarily.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Silva lands an elbow just above Puukko 's eye. Silva lands a nice elbow from the clinch. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A clash of legs there as Laiho blocks the low kick. Slewton gets a takedown into half guard. Slewton working Laiho over with strikes. Slewton seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Slewton connects with a nice short shot to Laiho's temple. Laiho trying to control but Slewton postures up.

Decent striking displayed by Hammer there. Aomi looks to clinch and Hammer cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Aoki Aomi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hammer is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Hammer thuds his right hand into Aomi's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Aomi moves to clinch but Hammer breaks away and Hammer counters with a straight right hand.
Aomi is rocked! Aomi tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Hammer counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Oh Aomi is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Aomi throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Hammer counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Aomi off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Hammer follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Aomi was out before he hit the floor.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sigge Furst. That's going to take a lot out of him. Dude displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Furst. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Dude is trying to buck Furst off. A lull in the action here. Dude is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Furst has just dragged him back down to the mat.

and Furst decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Dude's guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Dude is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Furst is controlling him. Sigge Furst is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Furst sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Dude's guard. Furst has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Dude is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Furst tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
And that's the end of the fight! Sigge Furst showed his dominance in that final round. Well Furst has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
