The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hamara gets tackled into the cage by Heiskanen. Heiskanen maintains the clinch.
Hamara is pressed up against the cage. Heiskanen has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Hamara down to the mat. Hamara avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Heiskanen misses with a kick to the body.

Hamara looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Heiskanen with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Hamara takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Heiskanen on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Heiskanen tries to get out of the position.

Brown uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Dann.

Brown bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Dann is not content to let Brown control the position.
You can see the frustration on Dann's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Dann is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
