 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hopkins does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Batts throws a leg kick but Hopkins checks it. Batts tries to move into range but Hopkins moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Batts misses with an uppercut
and Hopkins counters with a good low kick that Batts was not able to check. Hopkins attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Hopkins moves out of range of the strikes.
