Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Killscnuts dives in and grabs PiuPiu's left leg, looking for a takedown. PiuPiu pushes down on Killscnuts's head and hops out.
A looping hook to the body misses from PiuPiu. Killscnuts does a little dance to reset his feet.

and PiuPiu counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

PiuPiu has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Killscnuts to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! PiuPiu is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Killscnuts pulls down on the head and he's put PiuPiu to sleep! This one is all over!

Vrabiuta throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Costa stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Vrabiuta bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.

Costa takes the fight into the clinch.

Vrabiuta's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Vrabiuta throws a leg kick which misses Costa's front leg but catches the back leg as Costa tries to avoid it.
Vrabiuta lands with a kick to the ribs.
Costa is breathing heavily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

It looks like Luis Costa has been cut.

Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Vrabiuta! Costa is out on his feet! Vrabiuta rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Costa is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Costa is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
