Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heroic fails with a takedown attempt.

and Baczikov counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Baczikov.
Heroic wants to sweep here but Baczikov controlling him for the moment.
Heroic has his hands on Baczikov's head, controlling the position.

Heroic pulls Baczikov in close to his closed guard and prevents Baczikov from doing any damage or advancing position.

Baczikov knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Heroic on the ground.

Mace Heroic showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!


Heroic closes the distance and clinches up with Baczikov, looking for a takedown. Heroic pushes Baczikov against the cage but Baczikov circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Heroic is defended easily by Baczikov.

Heroic shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Baczikov manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tai Pei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pei comes into the arena with Rad Anthem blaring out of the sound system. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!
