0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mohammed Unsui! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hughes circles away from the clinch attempt and Unsui takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Unsui lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hughes circles away quickly and effectively. Unsui tries for a takedown but Hughes circles away easily letting Hughes counter with a right hand. Unsui shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Hughes counters with a stiff right hand. Hughes takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Mohammed Unsui seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Unsui fails with the takedown and Unsui takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Jordan Hughes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mohammed Unsui. Hughes shoots in and gets a takedown into Unsui's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hughes is looking to work some ground and pound but Unsui has wrist control. Unsui is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Unsui tries to work over Hughes's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. A head punch blocked on the inside by Unsui. Unsui wants to get back to striking at distance but Hughes won't allow it.
Hughes stops a takedown attempt from Unsui.
Hughes tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Unsui just stands there and leans against the cage. Unsui drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Hughes gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Unsui tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Hughes jumps guard and drags Unsui to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hughes escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Unsui gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hughes is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Hughes is working hard here to advance position. Unsui landing with the ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Unsui looking to sit in guard and control but Hughes gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Unsui had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hughes defends it easily. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Unsui looks gassed! Hughes trying to move into half guard but instead Unsui has managed to sweep!
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Unsui stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hughes swivels though and keeps the full guard. Hughes might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Hughes looking to hit a scissor sweep but Unsui is one step ahead there. Hughes not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Unsui decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Unsui tries for a takedown but Hughes circles away easily and Hughes counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Hughes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Jordan Hughes will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Hughes shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Unsui manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Unsui is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Unsui wants to improve his position but instead Hughes has moved into half guard.
Unsui tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Unsui trying to control but Hughes postures up.
Unsui gets full guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Unsui has his hands on Hughes's head, controlling the position. Hughes in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Unsui keeping moving, preventing Hughes from controlling successfully. Unsui trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Unsui bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hughes's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Hughes keeping moving, preventing Unsui from controlling successfully. Unsui trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Unsui content to stall in guard here. Unsui decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Hughes, up you get!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Unsui throws a lazy head kick and Hughes counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Unsui is trying to keep Hughes in close.
Unsui manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Hughes manages to get himself to full guard.
Unsui scoring with punches to the head and body. Unsui stands up from guard. Let's bang!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Unsui shoots and misses and Hughes counters with a nice double leg into side control. Unsui won't be happy with that. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Unsui manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Unsui trying to control the action but Hughes is working from the bottom. Unsui might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Hughes kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Jordan Hughes overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Unsui is stalling here. Hughes is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Unsui seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Hughes has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Hughes wants to lay and pray for a moment but Unsui keeps working. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jordan Hughes dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Hughes trying to control but Unsui is working from the bottom. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Unsui seems keen to control Hughes's posture.

Unsui throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Hughes forces his way into half guard. Unsui manages to get to full guard.

Hughes is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Unsui is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Unsui has escaped and now he's on top! Unsui postures up.
And that's the end of the fight! Jordan Hughes showed his dominance in that final round. Well Hughes has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Frankopan gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Saatana counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Sahab wants to clinch up but Cooper keeps it at a distance. Sahab looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Sahab throws a nice looking combination but Cooper bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Sahab misses with an attempted mid kick.

Sahab pushes Cooper against the cage but Cooper circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Adam Cooper has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Al Sahab. Sahab dodges the punch combination from Cooper.

Horrible takedown by Sahab or perhaps it was just good defense by Cooper which made him look bad. Sahab throws a body kick that misses. Sahab shoots in for a takedown but Cooper shows good takedown defense. Sahab lands a glancing blow to the side of Cooper's head. Sahab is looking to clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cooper throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Sahab makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Cooper keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Sahab throws a lazy head kick and Cooper counters with a left and a right that stings Sahab. Sahab looks gassed! Cooper throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Sahab's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Cooper dives in looking to finish as Sahab flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Cooper's strikes! Cooper is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Sahab's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Sahab was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.

Held gets to his feet. Mayer looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Held slips under a jab from Mayer. Held shoots in for a double leg but Mayer sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Mayer looks to land a left hand but Held moved out of range nicely. Held takes one to the chin there. Mayer rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

That's one minute gone in the round. Held is trying to get an arm triangle but Mayer is defending well. An elbow from Held crashes against the mat.
Mayer is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Held has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Held trying to control the action but Mayer is working from the bottom. Held has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Mayer is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Held yanks on the arm and Mayer is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Held.

and Kim counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Mountain lands a big uppercut and Kim crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Kim looks OK. Mountain waves Kim back to his feet!
It looks like Frank Kim has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Mountain misses with a left hand and Kim counters with a lovely straight right hand! Kim scores with a head kick.
Mountain connects with a nice cross there... Kim is looking wobbly and Mountain recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Kim to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Mountain jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!

Krohn gets caught flat footed, as Kron shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Kron is looking to stand up but Krohn won't let him. Kron postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Krohn throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Krohn has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kron can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Kron really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Krohn. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kron got a little sloppy there for a moment and Krohn has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kron has managed to get both his arms back between Krohn's legs - danger averted.
That's one minute gone in the round. Krohn looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Kron content to stall in guard here. Kron wants to stand but Krohn has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Krohn working for a triangle but Kron defends it easily.
Kron won't allow Krohn to get back to his feet. Krohn is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kron defends well. Kron must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Krohn had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kron defends it easily. Krohn has his foot on Kron's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kron works his way back into a safe position though. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Krohn working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kron doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Krohn is tightening it up a little... Kron has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Kron reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Kron taps out! nice BJJ there by Krohn!
