Nice defenses there by Bruiser . Bruiser takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Andriamboavonjy tries for a takedown but Bruiser circles away easily and Bruiser holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Bruiser stalling the fight.
Bruiser gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Bruiser sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Andriamboavonjy's guard. Andriamboavonjy is pressing down on Bruiser 's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Andriamboavonjy manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bruiser manages to get himself to full guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Bruiser escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Andriamboavonjy gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Andriamboavonjy pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Bruiser is keeping the position for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Andriamboavonjy preventing the sweep. Andriamboavonjy trying to control but Bruiser is working from the bottom. Andriamboavonjy got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bruiser has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Andriamboavonjy has managed to get both his arms back between Bruiser 's legs - danger averted. Andriamboavonjy works a leg free and moves into half guard. Bruiser is not content to let Andriamboavonjy control the position. Andriamboavonjy uses his free foot to push down on Bruiser 's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Bruiser .
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Andriamboavonjy wants to control the pace but Bruiser is squirming around nicely.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Bruiser tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. John Bruiser overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Bruiser sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Andriamboavonjy is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Andriamboavonjy wants to control but Bruiser postures up. An elbow from Bruiser crashes against the mat.
Andriamboavonjy is looking to regain half guard here but Bruiser keeps moving and retains side control. Andriamboavonjy sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Bruiser looks to land a strike but Andriamboavonjy avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Bruiser won't allow Andriamboavonjy to sweep him here. Bruiser trying to control but Andriamboavonjy is working from the bottom.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to John Bruiser . I think Bruiser has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zero misses the body punch and Haart counters with a crisp one two that drops Zero! Haart thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Zero to his feet! Zero is in big trouble!
Zero is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Zero tries to clinch but Haart moves out of range. Zero shoots in looking for a takedown. Haart tries to sprawl out of it but Zero keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Haart manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Zero misses with a body punch
and Haart counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Zero off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Haart follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Zero was out before he hit the floor.

Ddd postures up in Cyfrowy's guard and throws a big left but Cyfrowy blocks it. Ddd throwing strikes but missing. Ddd forces his way into half guard. Ddd is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Cyfrowy doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Ddd. Ddd is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Ddd looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
