9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Shom Harnick! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ronaldo Gracie! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Aafke Stam and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Harnick gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Harnick wants to stand and escape but Gracie is having none of it. Gracie stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Harnick swivels though and keeps the full guard. Harnick lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Gracie! Gracie is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Harnick wants to control the pace but Gracie is squirming around nicely. Gracie is looking to improve his position but Harnick isn't that keen on the idea. Harnick content just to control the position here. Gracie is trying desperately to improve position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gracie tries to hold on but Harnick pushes him away. Gracie tries to get back to half guard but can't. Harnick unloading with bombs! Gracie wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. Harnick wants to control but Gracie is keeping busy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gracie covering up well and avoiding damage. Harnick keeps control of the position as Gracie tries to break free.
Harnick is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Shom Harnick wasn't doing enough on the ground. Harnick is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Gracie on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Harnick wants to clinch up but Gracie keeps it at a distance. Harnick scores a takedown into full mount!

Harnick is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Shom Harnick seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Harnick pushes Gracie up against the cage in a clinch. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Harnick's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Gracie is fighting to maintain full guard but Harnick has managed to sneak the leg through. Gracie has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Harnick is working away from the top position though. Harnick works his foot free and advances to mount. Gracie takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Harnick moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Gracie has worked his arm free - good work by Gracie!
That's one minute gone in the round. Harnick is looking to take a break and control but Gracie is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Gracie is looking for a sweep.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. You can see the frustration on Gracie's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Harnick stands up and we're back to a striking position. Harnick clinches up with Gracie and pushes him back against the cage. Harnick manages to break the clinch.
Gracie uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Harnick.
Harnick tries to clinch up. Harnick tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Gracie decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Harnick's guard.

Gracie works his way back into a safe position though. Harnick keeping moving, preventing Gracie from controlling successfully. Gracie stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Harnick swivels though and keeps the full guard. Ronaldo Gracie has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Gracie decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Harnick, up you get! Harnick changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Gracie looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Harnick has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Gracie gets tackled into the cage by Harnick. Harnick maintains the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Harnick pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Harnick doesn't manage to clinch there - Gracie circles away.
Harnick feints and then cracks Gracie's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Gracie down. Harnick shoots in and gets a takedown into Gracie's guard. Harnick decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Gracie, up you get! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Harnick tries to clinch but Gracie moves out of range. Harnick doesn't manage to clinch there - Gracie circles away.

Shom Harnick is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Haminall gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and McCaig counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by McCaig. Haminall managing to control the position. McCaig drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and McCaig jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. McCaig passes into half guard. Haminall controlling the position well. McCaig is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Haminall doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time McCaig. Haminall is pressing down on McCaig's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Haminall holds on and takes a little breather. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. McCaig drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and McCaig jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Haminall's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Wankerzich takes a shot right to the bread basket. A jab lands there for van de Reuzel. Wankerzich slips a straight right by van de Reuzel. Wankerzich avoids the body shot from van de Reuzel.

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rankka Ankka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bones Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Ankka might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Milk - The Knife Song. Jones is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Gimme back my bullets. Rankka Ankka could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Bones Jones's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rankka Ankka! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bones Jones! The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Radbod Blank and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ankka blocks the body kick.
Jones fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ankka manages to avoid it. Jones throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Ankka was covering up waiting for the punch and Jones finishes the takedown easily into guard. Jones wants to pass the guard but Ankka is keeping the position. Jones is looking to work some ground and pound but Ankka has wrist control. Jones trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Jones wants to control from the top but Ankka keeps moving. Ankka pulls Jones in close to prevent any damage. Ankka wants to stand but Jones is controlling the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ankka utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Jones throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Jones throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Ankka works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Jones has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Ankka is working away from the top position though. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jones can do anything to dispel that myth. Jones is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Ankka is staying active. Ankka tries to pass the half guard into mount. Jones knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Jones is pressing down on Ankka's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Ankka wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Ankka doesn't manage to clinch there - Jones circles away.
