The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dos lands a nice hook to Oman's body. Oman takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Dos feints a jab promting Oman to slip. Dos then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Oman slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

It looks like Jackson Oman has been cut.

enabling Dos to counter with a crisp jab.
Oman connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

so Dos counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Dos looking to sit in guard and control but Oman gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Dos pushes Oman off and scrambles back to his feet.

Dos has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


The fighters circle momentarily. Dos darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

and Dos makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Dos works over Oman's head and body with a nice combination.
Oman throws a sloppy body shot
and Dos counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Oman throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Dos counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Mondial Dos is winning the standup battle so far.
Oman misses with an uppercut

and Dos counters with a nice double leg into side control. Oman won't be happy with that.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Dos will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Dos wants to control but Oman is keeping him busy.
Oman is breathing heavily.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Dos laying and praying for a moment but Oman takes advantage and regains half guard.

Oman regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Dos.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Oman moves into full guard.
Dos pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Oman is keeping the position for now.
Oman trying to keep a closed guard but Dos is proving a slippery customer.
Dos stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Oman swivels though and keeps the full guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Oman looking to hit a scissor sweep but Dos is one step ahead there.
Oman is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Mondial Dos overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Dos is looking to work some ground and pound but Oman has wrist control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dos throwing strikes from guard but Oman blocks nicely.

Dos drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Oman manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Dos has Oman in his guard.

Oman is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Oman lying in Dos's guard like a wet fish here, stalling away. Dos decides he's had enough of all that nonsense - he escapes his hips and locks up an armbar! Wow, that was slick! Oman taps! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
