1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bill Davies! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Joseph Jones and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Davies misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Allen.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Allen is defended easily by Davies. Allen gets the takedown into side control. Davies is trying to escape and get back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Allen tries for a kimura but Davies is defending well. Allen is looking to take a break and control but Davies is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Allen is really struggling to control Davies but he's trying to hold on to the position. Allen is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Davies regains half guard. Davies is looking for a sweep. Allen is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Allen prevents Davies from standing back up.
Davies wants to control but Allen is keeping busy and won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Allen passes the guard and advances to mount! Davies tries to get back to half guard but can't. Allen sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Allen tries to control but Davies wriggling away. Allen controlling his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Allen is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! Davies throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Allen misses with a combination
and Davies counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Allen bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Allen fails to land the takedown. Allen looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mason Allen. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Davies throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Allen sees it coming and avoids it easily. Davies misses with a straight left. Allen throws a hook to the side of Davies's head but Davies sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Allen works Davies's body with a nice hook. Allen staying out of range there. Davies takes a body punch but keeps moving. Davies throws a right and a left that Allen avoids nicely. A telegraphed right hand from Davies misses the target. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Allen avoids the body shot from Davies.
Davies misses the shot to the body. Davies gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters circling - Davies throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Allen shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Mason Allen overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Davies is desperately trying to improve his position but Allen has a good base and remains in mount. Davies tries to hold on but Allen pushes him away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Allen controlling his opponent. Allen goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Davies turns into him and now he's in Allen's guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Davies is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Davies stands up from Allen's guard - Davies perhaps looking for a knockout. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mason Allen dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

and Allen counters with a takedown into side control. Davies is being controlled here. Allen wants to lay and pray for a moment but Davies keeps working. Davies regains half guard. Davies has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Allen is working away from the top position though. Davies is controlling Allen's position as best he can from this difficult position.

Allen wants to pass the guard but Davies is defending well. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Davies has his hands clasped together around Allen's back. He's all about the action. Davies kicks Allen off and gets back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Davies lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Allen shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Davies manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Allen trying to control the position from guard on top but Davies is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Davies has control of Allen's left arm, preventing Allen from doing any damage. Davies is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Davies is trying to keep Allen in close.
Allen looking to sit in guard and control but Davies gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Davies trying to control but Allen is working from the bottom. Allen wants to sweep but no luck.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Allen shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Davies but Davies pushes him off and we're back to square one. Davies misses with a wild body shot.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Allen dodges the punch combination from Davies.
Davies swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Allen dodges the punch combination from Davies.
Allen slips under a jab from Davies. Bill Davies seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Allen fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Davies manages to avoid it. Allen is looking to wear down Davies with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Davies lands with a right hand. Allen looks to score with a jab to the body but Davies is just out of range. Allen cracks Davies with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Bill Davies has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Allen throws a hook but Davies blocks it.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mason Allen. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Allen, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kang tries to bum rush Earl with a series of wild strikes but Earl uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Kang works Earl's body with a nice hook. Kang misses with the combination.

Kang tests Earl's chin there with a solid looking shot. The crowd cheers as Kang lands an impressive looking overhand right. Earl doesn't seem phased though. Earl shoots for a takedown but Kang saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Earl is looking to clinch. Kang lands with a nice combination. Earl backs away looking to recover. Earl throws a head kick that misses. Earl on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. A lazy left from Kang finds it's target. Earl misses with a head kick.

Kang works over Earl's head and body with a nice combination. Kang throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Kang looks to land a combination but Earl avoids it well. Kang throws a nice looking combination but Earl bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Earl tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kang swats him away and circles back towards the center. Kang lunges at Earl with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Earl's hand. Kang throws a series of punches but Earl avoids them all with ease. Kang fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Earl on the side of the head. This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Earl. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Kang lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Kang's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Kang duly obliges. This has been an exciting period of action! Kang displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Earl gets cracked there but stands up to it.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Kang throws a right and a left that both miss. Kang lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Earl backs up against the cage.
Earl takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Kang throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Kang connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Earl momentarily.
Kang lands with a nice body punch. A right-left combo lands from Kang. Kang goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Danga de danga de dang - Kang scores with a four punch combination! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Kang lands a left and a right that send Earl crashing to the mat, dazed. Kang thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Earl is rocked! Kang uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Earl has time to react. Oh Earl is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Kang scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lu Kang dominated that round. The cut man is working on Bobby Earl's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Danga de danga de dang - Kang scores with a four punch combination! Earl seems to have got his legs back now. Earl looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Earl tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kang swats him away and circles back towards the center. Earl has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Earl there as he acknowledges the shot. Decent striking displayed by Kang there. A lazy left from Kang finds it's target. Kang misses with a jab, cross combination.

Kang lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Earl circles away quickly and effectively. Kang lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Earl with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Kang to score with a decent uppercut. Kang wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. No joy there for Kang, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Kang might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Kang sizes up Earl with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Kang looks to land a combination but Earl avoids it well. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Kang!

That's going to take a lot out of him. Kang cracks Earl with a right hand to the side of the head. Earl takes a body punch but keeps moving. Kang rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Earl moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Kang wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. No joy there for Kang, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
And that's the end of the fight! Lu Kang comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Kang winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
