Both these guys are coming into the fight with injuries so let's see if that has a bearing on the fight. Mando The will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Boss sprawls well initially but The persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Boss is breathing heavily. The controlling the pace. The trying to control the action but Boss is working from the bottom. The passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Boss! The raining down shots from the mount! The with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
That's one minute gone in the round. The controlling the position easily from mount. Boss defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from The. Boss is squirming around, avoiding The's attempts to control the action. The should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. The is working for a guillotine from mount but Boss frees his head quite easily.

The shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than The was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! The swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Boss is now in The's guard. A big mistake from The there, giving up the dominant position! Boss is looking to work some ground and pound but The has wrist control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Boss loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. The really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Boss. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Boss stopping the sweep attempt from The. Boss is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Boss passes The's right leg, so he's now in half guard. The is trying to get back to full guard. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Boss connects with a nice short shot to The's temple. The avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Boss.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Boss takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Boss not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. The keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. The is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Boss is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Boss is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, The has managed to free his arm - good work. Boss is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. The wants to control but Boss is keeping busy and won't allow it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. The keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Boss is trying to work for a kimura but The is defending well.
Boss is nestled in close to The, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Boss throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Boss is trying to control. The wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. The preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. The decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Boss is refusing to be controlled, as The sits in half guard. Boss is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but The pulls his head out easily. The is working for a submission of some sort.

The is keen to just control but Boss is a slippery customer. The trying to pass the guard but Boss defending well. Boss is looking to control The's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Boss avoid being mounted?
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. The shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
And that's the end of the fight! Mando The comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well The has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
