and Brose counters with a single leg into guard. Barry didn't expect that.

Brose drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Barry manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Brose has Barry in his guard.

Brose shoots in looking for a takedown. Barry tries to sprawl out of it but Brose keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Barry manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Li lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jango circles away quickly and effectively.
Sloppy strikes from Li. Those never looked like landing.
A jab from Li does it's job there.
Li bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Li plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Oh Jango is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jango closes this distance looking for a takedown but Li circles away.
Jango seems to have got his legs back now.
Jango shoots and misses

and Li counters with a crisp one two that drops Jango! Li thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Jango to his feet! Jango is in big trouble!
Jango is breathing heavily.
Li drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Jango's head, knocking him out cold! Li is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.

Cohen drops his hands momentarily and Franks takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
A decent looking cross lands there for Franks.
Franks looks to land a left hand but Cohen moved out of range nicely.
Franks goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Franks throws the kick towards the body but Cohen avoids it.
Franks fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Franks changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Franks lands a nice shot that snaps Cohen's head back.
Cohen gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Franks.
Franks fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Cohen looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Franks will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Franks misses with an uppercut. Cohen saw that one coming.

Franks digs a good body shot into Cohen's ribs.
Franks is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Cohen had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Franks connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

Franks throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Will Franks is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Franks misses with a hook. Cohen ducked under it nicely.

Siwon is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Xystorophroi wants to improve his position but Jules is controlling well.
Xystorophroi is not content to let Jules control the position.
