The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lilke shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Stone counters with a nice double leg into side control. Lilke won't be happy with that. Stone connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Lilke some visible discomfort.
Lilke pushes Stone away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Stone gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Lilke takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Stone connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Lilke some visible discomfort.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Stone creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Lilke is rocked! Stone lands some shots froms side control. Oh Lilke is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Stone in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Lilke looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Stone turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hortz scores with a one two! Hammer had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Hortz lands with a hook. Hammer tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Hortz misses with a double jab
and Hammer counters with a single leg into guard. Hortz didn't expect that. Hammer missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Hortz really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Hammer drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hammer jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Hortz keeping moving, preventing Hammer from controlling successfully. Hammer is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Hammer has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Hammer throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Hortz works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Hammer drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hammer jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hammer thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Hortz keeping moving, preventing Hammer from controlling successfully. Hammer has gone for a leg lock! Hortz slips out almost immediately though and dives into Hammer's guard. Hammer is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Hortz has his hands clasped together but Hammer extends an breaks Hortz's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Hammer.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Meesters tries to score a power double leg takedown but Uchiha sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Meesters somewhat. Uchiha decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Meesters gets back to full guard.
Meesters looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Uchiha wants to pass the guard but Meesters is keeping the position. Meesters is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Meesters has an active guard here but Uchiha has managed to pass into half guard.

A nice elbow there by Uchiha. Uchiha unloading with bombs! Uchiha looking to control and managing it successfully. Meesters is looking to improve his position but Uchiha isn't that keen on the idea.

Uchiha's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Uchiha has hold of Meesters's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Meesters manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Uchiha controlling the position easily from mount. Meesters tries to reverse the position but Uchiha maintains control. Meesters takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Uchiha controlling the pace for now. Meesters is desperately trying to improve his position but Uchiha has a good base and remains in mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sasuke Uchiha dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Uchiha shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Meesters is looking for a triangle but Uchiha pushes his legs off easily.
Meesters escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Uchiha gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Uchiha drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Uchiha as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Meesters screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Uchiha! Nice submission victory there!

Joseph takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Shoryu lands a nice leg kick that just misses Joseph's sensitive parts. Shoryu connects with a nice looking jab.
Shoryu throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Joseph's head. Shoryu lands a left and a right that send Joseph crashing to the mat, dazed. Shoryu thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Joseph is rocked! Look low, kick high! Shoryu uses the oldest trick in the book to send Joseph tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Shoryu is absolutely delighted - when Joseph wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!

Vice shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Mockalatz scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Liddell walks away with a smile on his face. Money gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Trey Money's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. Liddell clinches with his opponent.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shmuck takes one to the chin there. Shmuck tries to clinch but Penn is having none of it. Shmuck darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Shmuck seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Penn does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Penn preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Shmuck sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Penn defending well though. Penn trying to control from the bottom.

Penn keeping moving, preventing Shmuck from controlling successfully. Penn is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Shmuck is working Penn over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Penn is trying to control the position but Shmuck postures up.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Penn throws a big shot that misses. Shmuck gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Penn counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Shmuck! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. You get the feeling that Shmuck really doesn't like being in this position too much.

No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Shmuck lands a couple of decent looking shots. Penn had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Shmuck defends it easily. Shmuck postures up.

I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
