The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fazz lands a nice looking body kick. A low kick from Fazz is predictable there enabling Junior to counter with a crisp jab. Junior swings away with a body shot that misses
and Fazz counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Fazz scoring well with a low kick there.
Nice takedown defense from Fazz. No joy for Junior on that attempt. A left and a right from Junior both land. Nice combination. A bone on bone clash there as Junior blocks the leg kick.

Simmons follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Sai Yuk ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. A good leg kick by Simmons. Simmons with a jab.

That's four minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sai Yuk takes one on the button.
Fong Sai Yuk's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. Simmons connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Sai Yuk takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Sai Yuk misses with a takedown and Simmons counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

That was a close second round but I would say that Nyrkki Sankari will probably get the nod. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
