 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cutler throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Cutler throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Reaper misses with a double jab.
Reaper's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Reaper duly obliges. Reaper misses with a series of wild punches.
Reaper fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Cutler sprawls well initially but Reaper persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Reaper thows a huge punch but Cutler dodges it nicely.
Reaper throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Cutler slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.  The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Engbloom throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Lunn looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Engbloom is looking to improve his position.
Engbloom is trying to control but can't.
Lunn is looking for a kimura but Engbloom is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Lunn to get the leverage. Engbloom is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Lunn's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Lunn's back! Engbloom really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Engbloom throws a series of strikes and Lunn wriggles onto his back, so he's now mounted. He's in real trouble here. Engbloom putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Engbloom misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Engbloom throws a strike aimed at the side of Lunn's head but Lunn avoids it well. Engbloom tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Lunn takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Engbloom working away. Engbloom looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Lunn is avoiding damage well.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Lunn trying to hold on to Engbloom's head to control him but Engbloom postures up.

The fighters are battling for position here. Lunn manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Engbloom trying to control but Lunn is working from the bottom.
Lunn escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Engbloom gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Lunn is pulling down on Engbloom's head. It's preventing any offense from Engbloom, at least for the moment. Engbloom throws a strike but Lunn rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Lunn wants to control from the top but Engbloom keeps moving.
Engbloom is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Lunn has his hands clasped together but Engbloom extends an breaks Lunn's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Engbloom.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Christopoulos throws a hook to the side of Carter's head but Carter sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Sloppy strikes from Carter. Those never looked like landing. Christopoulos misses with a looping left. Carter throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Christopoulos misses with an uppercut. Christopoulos misses with a looping right. Christopoulos blocks a jab. Christopoulos swings widly with a right hand
enabling Carter to counter with a crisp jab.
 It looks like Jason Christopoulos has been cut. Christopoulos throws the left hand but Carter avoids the punch easily. Carter throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Carter shoots in for a double leg but Christopoulos sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Christopoulos swinging wildly here.

Christopoulos not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Carter content just to control the position here. Carter wants to control the pace but Christopoulos is squirming around nicely. Carter controlling his opponent. Christopoulos is trying to escape the mount.

Jerome Carter dominated that round. The cut man is working on Jason Christopoulos's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Carter lands a left and a right that send Christopoulos crashing to the mat, dazed. Carter thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
 Christopoulos is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Carter tries to close the distance and clinch but Christopoulos swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Christopoulos throws an overhand right that lands on Carter's shoulder, as Carter tries to avoid the shot. Carter tries to score a power double leg takedown but Christopoulos sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Carter somewhat. Carter attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Christopoulos slips a jab and a cross from Carter.
Nice defenses there by Carter. Christopoulos showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Carter.
Carter closes the distance and clinches. A quick uppercut on the inside from Carter.
 Jason Christopoulos's cut is getting worse. Christopoulos tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Carter's elbow. Carter has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Christopoulos avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Christopoulos, into his guard. Carter wants to stand and escape but instead Christopoulos has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Christopoulos loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Carter wants to stand but Christopoulos is controlling the position. Carter working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Christopoulos. Carter is controlling Christopoulos's posture. Christopoulos postures up and lands a big shot to Carter's brow. Christopoulos pushing down on Carter's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Christopoulos not landing any meaningful shots this time. Christopoulos throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Christopoulos looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Christopoulos trying to control from half guard but Carter is working away.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Carter is trying to get back to full guard. Nice strikes from Christopoulos there. Christopoulos thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Carter's head. Christopoulos working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Christopoulos thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Christopoulos throws a strike but Carter avoids it easily and moves to full guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Christopoulos accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Carter is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Christopoulos throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Christopoulos throws a strike but Carter rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Carter slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Christopoulos wants to sweep here but Carter controlling him for the moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

and Woleman counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Mitsusada thinking. Daizu Mitsusada seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Woleman checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Mitsusada misses with a left hand and Woleman counters with a nice body shot. Mitsusada swings widly with a right hand

so Woleman counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Woleman trying to control the position from guard on top but Mitsusada is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. and Woleman makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Mitsusada tries to clinch but Woleman moves away and Woleman counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Mitsusada throws a poor cross that misses
and Woleman counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Mitsusada fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Woleman manages to avoid it. Mitsusada falls off balance throwing a combination
and Woleman counters with a nice uppercut. Woleman has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Mitsusada throws a combination that misses
and Woleman counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Woleman postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

and Woleman cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. A nice leg kick lands there from Mitsusada. Woleman checks a low kick from Mitsusada. Mitsusada swings widly with a right hand
and Woleman counters with a lovely straight right hand! Mitsusada takes a shot right to the bread basket. Mitsusada tries to clinch but Woleman is having none of it. A left lands for Woleman. Mitsusada darts in trying to clinch and Woleman counters with a nice uppercut.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Mitsusada falls off balance throwing a combination
and Woleman cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Mitsusada gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Woleman. Woleman keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Mitsusada throws a leg kick and Woleman counters with a series of strikes. Mitsusada will be more careful next time no doubt. Daizu Mitsusada is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Woleman changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Woleman uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Mitsusada has time to react.
