The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A combination from Brady does no damage. Sistjierten tries to clinch there but Brady circles away.

It looks like Seamus Brady has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Sistjierten is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Brady goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Sistjierten!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dassler avoids the head kick by Sagat.
Sagat will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
The fight stays on the outside here - Dassler looks like he's thinking about clinching though. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Dassler. Sagat throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Dassler wants to clinch up but Sagat keeps it at a distance. No luck with that takedown attempt from Dassler. Dassler gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Sagat connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Tong Sagat has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rudi Dassler. Sagat misses with a two punch combination.
A looping hook to the body misses from Dassler. Sagat does a little dance to reset his feet. Sagat keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Dassler fails with an attempt to clinch.
Sagat works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Dassler fails with the takedown. Sagat tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McCulloch throws a shot from downtown. Owen moves away and avoids it. Owen closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. McCulloch quickly recovers to half guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Owen is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
McCulloch desperately trying to maintain half guard. Owen really doesn't want to stay on the ground with McCulloch. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. McCulloch is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. McCulloch works his way to full guard. Good work. Owen must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. McCulloch has a closed guard, preventing Owen from standing up. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as McCulloch holds on and takes a little breather.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Owen feints a jab promting McCulloch to slip. Owen then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. McCulloch slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Striker throws a leg kick which misses Gunn's front leg but catches the back leg as Gunn tries to avoid it. Striker moves out of range of the leg kick from Gunn. Gunn shoots for a double leg takedown but Striker sprawls well. He's pushed Gunn's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Striker instigates a clinch. Gunn thuds his shin into the meat of Striker's side. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Gunn tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Gunn misses with a low kick.
Striker fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Gunn is out of range. Thai Striker is winning the standup battle so far. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Gunn chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Striker can pounce on him.
A looping hook to the body misses from Striker. Gunn does a little dance to reset his feet. Gunn lands with a slapping head kick.

Bratts pushes Lombardo up against the cage in a clinch. Lombardo prevents Bratts from breaking the clinch. Bratts gets underhooks to prevent Lombardo's takedown attempt.
Lombardo's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Lombardo throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Bratts sees it coming and avoids it easily. A nice combination there by Lombardo.

A low kick from Cody lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Takeda has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Takeda and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Takeda swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Karl Mathers! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Glass and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Callis slaps away a takedown attempt from Mathers, before circling back to the center of the mat. Callis loads up on a big right hand but Mathers slips the punch. Callis blocks a jab. Mathers moves in looking to clinch but Callis pushes him off. Callis fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mathers manages to avoid it. Mathers walks into a left hand. Callis swings for the body but Mathers moves out of range.
Mathers tries to score a power double leg takedown but Callis sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mathers somewhat. Callis lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Mathers looks for a takedown but Callis sprawls well. M I Callis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Karl Mathers. Callis bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Nice defenses there by Mathers. Mathers gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Callis counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Mathers has a takedown stuffed. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Callis smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Callis fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Mathers with a lazy takedown attempt and Callis counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Mathers takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Mathers is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Callis lands a lovely overhand right. Mathers takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Left hook, right uppercut from Callis.
Mathers is rocked! Mathers shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Callis as he jumps to the side. Mathers is still on wobbly legs! Can Callis finish him? Mathers looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Callis walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Mathers drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Callis swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Mathers's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hazan Ali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mr Funktastic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ali's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, LL Cool J - Mama' Said Knock You Out. Mr Funktastic told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ali throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Ali throws a hook to the side of Funktastic's head but Funktastic sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Funktastic slips under a jab from Ali. Ali throws a shot from downtown. Funktastic moves away and avoids it. Hazan Ali seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ali misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Funktastic.
Ali throws the left hand but Funktastic avoids the punch easily. Ali fails to land with a series of punches.
Funktastic has taken the fight to the clinch.
Funktastic has clasped his hands together around Ali's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Funktastic tries to free his leg and advance position but Ali is retaining full guard. Funktastic postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Ali is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Funktastic, into his guard. Funktastic is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Funktastic shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ali but Ali pushes him off and we're back to square one. Nice sprawl there from Ali as Funktastic shoots in. Funktastic wants to free his trapped foot but Ali is holding on for dear life with his legs. Funktastic has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Ali bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Funktastic manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Ali manages to get himself to full guard.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Funktastic is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Ali is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Ali has escaped and now he's on top! Mr Funktastic has got the better of the ground game so far. Funktastic has an active guard here but Ali has managed to pass into half guard.

Ali showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Ali throwing strikes but missing. Ali trying to control but Funktastic is working from the bottom. Ali manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close fourth round but I would say that Hazan Ali will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
