The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fun lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Gracie JR circles away quickly and effectively. Fun lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
It looks like Royce Gracie JR has been cut. Fun connects with a good right hand that stumbles Gracie JR. Gracie JR circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Fun misses with a few strikes there.
Fun lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Gracie JR circles away quickly and effectively. Gracie JR throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Fun connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Fun goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Gracie JR uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Fun. Nice uppercut lands for Fun. That snapped Gracie JR's head back.
Fun throws a hook but Gracie JR blocks it. Fun is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Fun swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Gracie JR counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Gracie JR trying to control but Fun is working from the bottom. Fun pulls Gracie JR in to control the position.
