1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Fcuk UrFace! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Yves DeLean and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from UrFace. UrFace feints and as Synephrine raises his hands in defense, UrFace changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. UrFace makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. UrFace forces his way into half guard. Synephrine might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Synephrine avoiding damage under a succession of punches from UrFace. Synephrine is looking to improve his position.
Synephrine keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Synephrine is looking for a sweep. UrFace is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Nice strikes from UrFace there. Synephrine looking for a kimura from the bottom but UrFace passes into side control! UrFace decides to stand back up. UrFace steps back and let's Synephrine get back to his feet. UrFace shoots and misses and Synephrine counters with a leg kick. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Wilcox changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Schimpson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Schimpson on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Wilcox fails to land a wild elbow strike.

Parts tries to close the distance and clinch up but Valasvatsa swats him away and circles back towards the center. Nice sprawl there from Parts as Valasvatsa shoots in. Parts swivels though and keeps the full guard. Parts is pulling down on Valasvatsa's head to control his posture.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Ryan Parts hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Parts ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Valasvatsa moves away. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Parts with a jab. Parts tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Valasvatsa paws at him with a jab and circles away. Valasvatsa jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

Parts's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Valasvatsa feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
