Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jake Shields (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Warren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Shields might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Take your shirt off. Warren has chosen London Calling - The Clash as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Jake Shields! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 2, fighting out of London, Frank Warren! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Atkins and Richard Clark.

Shields tries for a takedown but Warren circles away easily enabling Warren to counter with a crisp jab. Shields with a lazy takedown attempt and Shields takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Shields shoots and misses and Warren counters with a straight right hand. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jake Shields. That's going to take a lot out of him. Shields shoots in but doesn't get the takedown enabling Warren to counter with a crisp jab.
Shields gets the takedown into side control.
Shields goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Warren rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Shields's guard! Nice work there by Warren!
Shields working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Warren doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Warren manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Warren lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Shields is looking for a sweep. Warren is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Warren is taking a breather. Shields says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Shields gets back to full guard.
Warren really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Shields. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Warren is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Warren tries to stand but Shields is controlling from the bottom. Shields manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Warren manages to get himself to full guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Shields is looking to work some ground and pound but Warren has wrist control. Shields working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Shields connects with a couple of short punches. Shields makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Shields is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Warren is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Warren has escaped and now he's on top!
Shields has his foot on Warren's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Warren works his way back into a safe position though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Jake Shields will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Warren throws a shot from downtown. Shields moves away and avoids it. A shot to the liver by Warren. Beautiful body shot.

Warren darts in and clinches Shields up against the cage. Shields changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Warren fights it off and pushes away nicely.

and Warren decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Shields's guard. Shields throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

Shields sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Warren wants to lay and pray for a moment but Shields keeps working. Shields is looking for a sweep. Warren is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Shields trying to control from the bottom.

Warren wanted to stand there but Shields had control of the position. Warren slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Shields keeping moving, preventing Warren from controlling successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Frank Warren showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

so Warren counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Warren slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Shields wriggles free and stands up. Shields misses with a takedown attempt and Warren cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

and Warren counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Warren lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Shields backwards.
Warren breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Shields with a lazy takedown attempt
and Warren counters with a nice double leg into side control. Shields won't be happy with that. Warren content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Warren prevents Shields from getting back to his feet. Shields not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Shields closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Warren's guard. Frank Warren has got the better of the ground game so far. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Shields in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
And that's the end of the fight! Frank Warren comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Warren has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Uppercuts and crosses smash into Graves's face. Graves staggers backwards, shaken. Graves has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Sloppy strikes from Gabriel. Those never looked like landing. Gabriel looks to land a combination but Graves avoids it well. Gabriel fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Graves on the side of the head. A punch combination from Gabriel misses. Gabriel fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Graves is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Gabriel. Gabriel throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Gabriel really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Graves throws a shot from downtown. Gabriel moves away and avoids it. Graves bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Gabriel's guard. Graves stands and throws Gabriel's legs to the side, diving into side control. Gabriel defending against the ground and pound. Graves controls the position.
Graves is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Gabriel has escaped the position, nice work there. Graves lands a nice forearm strike. Graves has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Graves throws an elbow but Gabriel slips to the side and avoids it well. Graves throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Graves trying to control the position but Gabriel is working away.

Graves works his foot free and advances to mount. Poor strikes thrown by Graves there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Farmery enables Okudja to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Farmery manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Farmery is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Okudja stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Farmery throws up his legs and catches Okudja in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Okudja tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Farmery! That came out of nowhere!

and Papillion counters with a lovely straight right hand! Kaze tries to bum rush Papillion with a series of wild strikes but Papillion uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Kaze misses with a series of wild punches.
Papillion works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Kami Kaze seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kaze takes one on the button. Kaze closes the distance looking to clinch
and Kaze is countered with a crisp right hand from Papillion that sends him to the canvas! Papillion follows him to the mat into side control.

McMasters clinches up with Flame and pushes him back against the cage. Flame tries to score a body lock takedown but McMasters shows good agility there to stay on his feet. McMasters tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
McMasters utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. McMasters keeps control of Flame as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. McMasters can't find room to land a body shot as Flame controls the action.
A knee to the head by McMasters.
Flame has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. McMasters avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. McMasters looking to slow down the pace here. Flame drops down looking for an ankle pick but McMasters pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jonny Flame. That's going to take a lot out of him. Flame circles away from the clinch attempt
and Flame counters with a takedown into side control. McMasters throwing some weak shots from the bottom that do no damage.
Flame landing a few strikes. McMasters gets back to half guard. Flame thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed McMasters's head. McMasters wants to control but Flame is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Flame landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Flame winds up and cracks McMasters with a swinging punch to the side of the head. McMasters is trying to get back to full guard. Flame is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Flame uses his free foot to push down on McMasters's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for McMasters.

Flame scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish McMasters?
Flame landing punches. Flame is in the full mount, landing strikes. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! McMasters tries to get back to half guard but can't. Flame landing shots from mount. McMasters is bucking up trying to escape but Flame cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Flame scores with a couple of good head shots there.

Perfetto misses with a takedown and Perfetto takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Perfetto takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Perfetto is breathing heavily. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Good leg kick by Deveraux there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

and Lime connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. The fighters circle momentarily. Lime darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Hard misses with a right hand and Lime counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Hard thinking. Hard takes one to the chin there. Hard doesn't manage to clinch there - Lime circles away.

and Lime scores with a counter punch that sends Hard to the canvas! Lime smells blood - he's punishing Hard with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Hard has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
