The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vazquez tries for a takedown but Brown sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Brown changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Vazquez tries to avoid it but Brown manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Vazquez to the ground. Vazquez escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Vazquez closes the distance and clinches up with Brown, looking for a takedown. Vazquez pushes Brown against the cage but Brown circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

and Vazquez counters by moving into the clinch.
Brown wants to stall.
Vazquez works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Brown tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Vazquez just stands there and leans against the cage.

Vazquez really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Vazquez changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Brown looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
You can see the frustration on Brown's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Thorpe throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Mancini was covering up waiting for the punch and Thorpe finishes the takedown easily into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nice uppercut lands for Williams. That snapped Juston's head back.
Juston slips a jab and a cross from Williams.
Williams bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Juston's head backwards.

Juston takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Remo Williams seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Williams cracks Juston with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Williams jabs Juston to the body, keeping him at a distance.
It's a brutal combination of punches from Williams! Juston is backing up but he can't get away as Williams lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Juston and ends the fight. Great knockout.
