9 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ronnie Cordoza! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sinclair shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Cordoza is trying to defend but Sinclair finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Cordoza trying to control from the bottom.
Cordoza moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Cordoza wants to sweep here but Sinclair controlling him for the moment. Sinclair stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cordoza swivels though and keeps the full guard. Cordoza trying to strike off his back.

Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Cordoza is looking for a triangle here but Sinclair uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Sinclair takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Cordoza tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. The ref stands the fighters back up because Tony Sinclair just wasn't active enough. Cordoza has his takedown stuffed and Sinclair counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Cordoza! Sinclair prevents Cordoza from getting the reversal. Sinclair content just to control the position here. Sinclair has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Cordoza looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Sinclair has picked Cordoza up and slammed him! Cordoza can't keep hold of the triangle and Sinclair manages to pass to side control! Sinclair is staying tight to Cordoza's torso, preventing him from escaping. Cordoza manages to work his way to half guard, despite Sinclair's best efforts.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sinclair scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Cordoza is not content to let Sinclair control the position. Sinclair slows the pace down in half guard. Cordoza is looking to control Sinclair's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Cordoza avoid being mounted? Tony Sinclair is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Cordoza looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Sinclair with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Ronnie Cordoza has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Cordoza is trying to stand up here but Sinclair is controlling him well.
And that's the end of the fight! Tony Sinclair showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Sinclair, winning every round. Will the judges agree? The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wotan misses with a body shot.
Wotan dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Odin Wotan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. James takes a shot right to the bread basket. Wotan just misses with a punch to the body.
James with a poor takedown and Wotan makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Wotan throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. Nice body punch from Wotan. James is trying desperately to land a takedown but Wotan is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for James. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice sprawl there from Matumba as Culver shoots in. Culver looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Matumba is fending him off so far but Culver persists. Nope, Matumba circles away and we're back to standing. Matumba throws a wild combination but nothing lands. A jab from Matumba finds it's way through Culver's defenses. Matumba throws a right and a left that both miss. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Culver falls off balance throwing a combination
and Matumba counters with a left to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Matumba scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Culver shoots for a takedown but Matumba saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Umba Matumba has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Trevor Culver. Matumba's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Matumba duly obliges. Culver is trying hard to land a takedown here. Matumba sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Culver misses with a takedown attempt and Matumba counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Matumba misses with the combination.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nice sprawl there from Matumba as Culver shoots in. Culver changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Matumba tries to avoid it but Culver manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Matumba to the ground. Matumba escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Culver dodges the punch combination from Matumba.
No joy there for Matumba, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Culver fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Matumba avoids it really well and circles away. Culver misses with a takedown and Matumba counters with a nice uppercut. Matumba misses with a few strikes there.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Culver.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Culver is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Matumba. Matumba looks to land a combination but Culver avoids it well. Matumba cracks a nice hook into Culver's ribs. Culver shoots in but no luck this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Umba Matumba dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Culver is rocked! Matumba cracks Culver's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Culver slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Matumba can do further damage! This one is done, son!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tinsley tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Wilkins paws at him with a jab and circles away. Wilkins looking to score a takedown here. Tinsley is defending well but Wilkins drives through and ends up in Tinsley's guard. Wilkins drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Wilkins as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Tinsley screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Wilkins! Nice submission victory there!
