Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andy Zeraka! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Scott Hall! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Stewart Dunkirk and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zeraka feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Zeraka drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Hall dives on top into guard. Zeraka has his foot on Hall's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hall works his way back into a safe position though. Zeraka working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hall doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hall manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Zeraka looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Hall passes into side control.
Hall lands a few punches from side control. Zeraka takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Zeraka taking a bit of punishment here - Hall scoring with strikes. Zeraka is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hall tries for a kimura but Zeraka is defending well. Hall in side control lands a decent elbow.
Zeraka is rocked! A big shot lands for Hall! That's hurt Zeraka! Will he recover? Hall fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!

6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, The Big Show! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Chris Downing and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Grimm gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Show counters with a head kick. That will keep Grimm thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Show moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Show is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Grimm tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Jab, jab by Show - just one landing.
It looks like John Grimm has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! Grimm shoots and misses and Show counters with a head kick. That will keep Grimm thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Show rushes Grimm and presses him up against the cage. Show is working for takedown but Grimm is calmly controlling the position for now. Show manages to break the clinch.

Grimm closes the distance looking to clinch and Show counters with a nice kick to the body. Grimm is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Show connects with a high kick. Show cracks the inside of Grimm's front leg. Grimm misses with a takedown and Show counters with a big head kick but Grimm shrugs it off. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Grimm. That's going to take a lot out of him. Show thows a body shot but no joy. Grimm takes a head kick and keeps coming.
John Grimm's cut is getting worse. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Show lands a big head kick that sends Grimm tumbling to the mat! Show takes a step backwards and waves Grimm back to his feet - he wants the finish!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Orca shoots and misses enabling Koparka to counter with a crisp jab. Orca throws a leg kick but Koparka checks it. Orca throws a right and a left that Koparka avoids nicely. Orca takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Koparka stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Koparka wants it to stay on the feet. Koparka connects with a body shot. Koparka keeps the fight on the outside. Koparka cracks Orca with a right hand to the side of the head. Koparka scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Orca fails with an attempt to clinch.

Orca walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Orca moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Koparka uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Orca takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Orca on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Orca is breathing heavily. Orca moves forwards but Koparka connects with a nice, crisp jab.

and Koparka counters with a lovely shot to the body. Koparka scores with a jab to the jaw. Orca throws a combination that misses enabling Koparka to counter with a crisp jab. Koparka dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Koparka, as that shot connected.
Orca closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Koparka scores with a jab to the jaw. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Koparka stuns Orca with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Orca walks into a stiff left hand from Koparka. Orca takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Koparka getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Orca is rocked! Orca shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Orca ducks straight into an uppercut from Koparka and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Orca manages to regain guard straight away.
Oh Orca is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Koparka wants to get up but he can't break Orca's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Orca seems to have got his legs back now. Koparka stands and steps away. Orca gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Marcin Koparka is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Koparka stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Orca takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Donk. Koparka catches Orca right on the button with a cross. Koparka scores with a nice strike. Orca walks into a jab. Koparka jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Orca loads up on a big right hand but Koparka slips the punch. Koparka bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Orca's head backwards. Koparka connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Orca gets cracked there but stands up to it.

and Koparka counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Nice body punch from Koparka. Orca on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Koparka wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Koparka lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Koparka digs a good hook to Orca's body.
Koparka digs a good body shot into Orca's ribs. A shot to the liver by Koparka. Beautiful body shot. Koparka throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Orca stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Nice jab there from Koparka. Koparka lands a slapping body shot.

Koparka takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Koparka lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Koparka. Koparka moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Koparka lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Orca at a distance.
Orca looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Koparka scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Orca throws a low kick but it's checked well by Koparka. Yunjiro Orca seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Koparka moves into range and connects with a jab. Koparka lands a head shot. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Koparka connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Orca misses with a left hand and Koparka connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Orca takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Orca. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Orca's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Koparka connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Orca scrambles back to his feet. Orca takes one on the chin but seems OK.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Koparka closes the distance and lands a one-two. Koparka throws a good cross that connects.

Koparka manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Danga de danga de dang - Koparka scores with a four punch combination! And that's the end of the fight! Marcin Koparka comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Koparka has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bernardini closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Jr quickly recovers to half guard. Jr looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Bernardini in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Loeffler rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but The Blade moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Loeffler fails to land with a series of punches.
The Blade keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Loeffler rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but The Blade moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Loeffler closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Loeffler lands in his opponent's guard. The Blade working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Loeffler. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kang takes a swing at Aldo's ribcage but misses. A bone on bone clash there as Aldo blocks the leg kick.
Paulo Kang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Aldo takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Kang feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Aldo's calf. Kang tries a low kick but Aldo avoids it. Kang is looking to clinch but Aldo is avoiding it.
Kang cracks Aldo with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Aldo jabs at Kang's body. Kang looks to land a combination but Aldo avoids it well. Kang misses with a looping right. Kang scores with a crisp jab that stopped Aldo in his tracks. Aldo checks a leg kick nicely. Kang waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Aldo. Aldo misses with a right hand and Kang makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Kang uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Aldo. Kang feints and then cracks Aldo's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Aldo down. Aldo swats away the attempt to clinch by Kang. Kang throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Aldo misses with a left hand and Kang counters with an inside leg kick. Kang has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Aldo takes one to the side of the head.
Kang connects with a solid leg kick. Kang's corner calls for a 1-2. Kang obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

That kick from Kang tenderised Aldo's leg. Aldo is trying to keep his angry face on. Kang connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Kang jabbing away but nothing is landing. Kang chopping away at his opponent's legs.

Kang lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Aldo motions for Kang to come forward. Aldo throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Kang wants to clinch. Kang cracks the inside of Aldo's front leg. Aldo steps into range and cracks Kang with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Kang flops backwards and Aldo dives into his guard looking to finish!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Jose Aldo will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!
