The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ears doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Creaturos counters with a low kick, right behind Ears 's knee.
Ears takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Ears trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Creaturos manages to pass to mount!

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Creaturos cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ears tries to lock up and control but Creaturos gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

It looks like Cauliflower Ears has been cut.
Oooooh, big shot lands for Creaturos! Ears is hurt baaadly! Creaturos is firing away with more strikes - Ears is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!

More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save James from any more punishment! James complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
