The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pesovic rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Arona counters with a stiff right hand. Arona bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Pesovic's head.
It looks like Dejan Pesovic has been cut. Pesovic throws a lazy uppercut
and Arona counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Pesovic thinking. Pesovic throws a lazy uppercut
and Arona counters with a right hand to the body. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Pesovic gets cracked there but stands up to it.

The Bison throws a looping overhand right but Olivia ducks down to avoid it. Olivia rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but The Bison moves out of range and avoids them all easily. A looping hook to the body misses from The Bison. Olivia does a little dance to reset his feet. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Olivia ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. The Bison misses the body punch and Olivia counters with a big head kick but The Bison shrugs it off.

and The Bison counters with a left to the body. Both fighters are breathing heavily. The Bison lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Olivia at a distance.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. The Bison swings for the body but Olivia moves out of range.

And that's the end of the fight! Chuck The Bison comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well The Bison has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kolos circles away from the clinch attempt and Kolos counters with a takedown into side control. Jones is looking for a sweep. Kolos is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Jones's shoulder. That is not cool. Kolos has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. You can see the frustration on Jones's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jones manages to work his way to half guard, despite Kolos's best efforts. Kolos is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Kolos is working for a submission of some sort.

Jones is trying to stand up here but Kolos is controlling him well. Kolos stalling. Kolos seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Jones for as long as he can get away with. Kolos is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Kolos controlling the position easily from mount. Kolos trying to control but Jones is having none of it. Jones is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Kolos sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Jones keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Kolos sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Kolos is in the full mount, landing strikes. Kolos avoids the attempt from Jones to control. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Kolos is working hard here to advance position. Jones wants to stand and escape but instead Kolos has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Kolos stays in close to Jones's body and controls the position. Jones is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Kolos is controlling him. Kolos pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jones is keeping the position for now. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones being controlled here, momentarily. Kolos trying to control but Jones is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We're going to have a standup here because Day Kolos wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Kolos takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Jones is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Kolos prevents Jones from getting back to his feet. Jones keeping moving, preventing Kolos from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kolos drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kolos jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Kolos trying to control but Jones is working from the bottom. Kolos throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Jones works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Jones keeping moving, preventing Kolos from controlling successfully. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Jones manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Kolos on his heels. He'll look to pass Kolos's guard now, I'm sure.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kolos keeping full guard, as Jones tries to pass. Jones in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Kolos working a defensive guard here.

Stewie Jones showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Jones slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Kolos tries to buck Jones off but Jones is having none of it. Jones sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Kolos is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Kolos has escaped the position, nice work there. Kolos is trying to control Jones's posture but Jones avoids it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Jones is looking to take a break and control but Kolos is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Jones remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Jones trying to control the action but Kolos is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Jones stands up and we're back to a striking position. Jones clinches with his opponent.
Kolos drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Jones gets the underhooks and prevents it.

This has been an exciting period of action! McGirk tries to circle away but Fickett has him pinned against the cage. Fickett keeps control of McGirk as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Fickett is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. McGirk is trying to force a seperation but Fickett has the dominant position. McGirk gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Fickett.

Fickett shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has McGirk pinned against the cage. McGirk gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. McGirk closes the distance looking to clinch and Fickett counters with a flying knee. Nice. Dirt McGirk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fickett throws a sloppy head kick and McGirk moves out of range easily. McGirk scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Fickett tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. McGirk tries to clinch but Fickett moves out of range. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones throws a hook but Yap blocks it. Yap works the jab nicely. Jones ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Yap moves away. Jones scores with a sloppy right hand. Yap should have avoided that one. Yap misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Jones counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Jones misses with an uppercut
and Yap counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Yap misses with a double jab
and Jones cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. This has been an exciting period of action! Yap throws a predictable looking body shot

and Jones counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Jones cracks Yap with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Yap tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Jones pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Yap is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
