The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leonidas connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Leonidas tries for a takedown but Copley circles away easily

and Copley counters by moving into the clinch.

Leonidas wants the takedown. Copley is fighting it off but Leonidas persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Copley's guard against the cage.

Copley isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Leonidas stacks Copley on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Leonidas!

Leonidas wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Copley, who protects the arm well.
Leonidas gets to mount! Copley was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
Copley is desperately trying to improve his position but Leonidas has a good base and remains in mount.

and Leonidas counters with a nice double leg into side control. Copley won't be happy with that.

Copley is looking to improve his position but Leonidas isn't that keen on the idea.

Leonidas goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Copley turns into him and now he's in Leonidas's guard.

Leonidas had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Copley defends it easily.

McCool uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Tucker has time to react.
McCool shoots in looking for a takedown. Tucker tries to sprawl out of it but McCool keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Tucker manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
McCool is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Tucker paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Tucker swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Oh McCool is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Tucker feints a jab promting McCool to slip. Tucker then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. McCool slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

and Tucker counters with a three punch combo that has McCool backing up. McCool nods at Tucker to acknowledge the strikes.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Visigoth kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is THUNDERSTRUCK.
