The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daniel misses with a takedown

and Magnum counters by clinching up.

Magnum is trying to trip Daniel. He has hold of a leg but Daniel is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Magnum persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

It looks like Ryan Edward has been cut.
Backman tries to clinch there but Edward circles away.
Backman throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Backman takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Backman connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
A jab from Edward misses.
Edward misses with a hook
and Backman counters with a left and a right... And another left! Edward is down! He's done! The ref dives in to save him and that's the end of the fight!
