Palmer has chosen Mack The Knife as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Nice takedown defense from Steamboat. No joy for Palmer on that attempt.

Steamboat is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Palmer rolls with it to try and escape but Steamboat cranks on the arm and Palmer is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

Karnt wants to clinch.
Smith fails with a takedown attempt.
Smith tries to bum rush Karnt with a series of wild strikes but Karnt uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Karnt forces Smith back against the cage and clinches.
Smith gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Karnt.
Karnt tries to pull guard but Smith holds him up against the cage and eventually Karnt drops back down to his feet.
Karnt tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Smith just stands there and leans against the cage.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Karnt connects with a nice short shot to Smith's temple.

Knight is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Alex Knight seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

A head kick by Knight - that's a beauty! Starr is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Knight can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
