Dan Hard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hard tries to keep at a distance but ali has taken the fight into the clinch.
Hard jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as ali walks away with a smile on his face. Hard gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Rekker throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Rekker punishes Montgomery's body with a nice straight punch.
Montgomery changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rekker tries to avoid it but Montgomery manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rekker to the ground. Rekker escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Rekker slaps away a takedown attempt from Montgomery, before circling back to the center of the mat.

The Battery closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Martyrdom fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Hardchin is out of range.

Hardchin doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Hardchin takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

It looks like Bruce Hardchin has been cut.
Hardchin closes this distance looking for a takedown but Martyrdom circles away.
