I think Rodhrehson might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Fight to dance. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Li fails with the takedown
and Rodhrehson makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Li shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Rodhrehson napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Li goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Rodhrehson has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Li but great work by Rodhrehson.
Rodhrehson lands a few punches from side control.
Rodhrehson is working Li over with some ground and pound from side control.
Li is not content to let Rodhrehson control the position.
Rodhrehson throws an elbow but Li slips to the side and avoids it well.
The ground and pound from Rodhrehson seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
The strikes coming from Rodhrehson are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

Rodhrehson stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Li doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Rodhrehson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

It looks like Sako Li has been cut.
Li throws a poor cross that misses
and Rodhrehson counters with a big right hand! Oh Li is in trouble here! Rodhrehson follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!

and Hippo counters with a leg kick then a big left hand that sends Dam down! Hippo is looking to finish but Dam is intelligently defending himself.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Allianz fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but LaRusso avoids it really well and circles away.

and LaRusso finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
LaRusso throws a leg kick which misses Allianz's front leg but catches the back leg as Allianz tries to avoid it.
Allianz shoots for a double leg takedown but LaRusso sprawls well. He's pushed Allianz's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Allianz is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

LaRusso rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Allianz moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Allianz is trying desperately to land a takedown but LaRusso is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Allianz.

King connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Ali momentarily.
King tries to clinch but Ali moves out of range.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
King tries to close the distance and clinch but Ali swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
King tries to clinch up but Ali circles away and keeps his distance.

so Ali counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
King pulls Ali in close to prevent any damage.
King is looking to stand up but Ali isn't so interested in that idea.
Ali loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
King really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ali. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Ali postures up in King's guard and throws a big left but King blocks it.

Ali is just content to waste time from the top position. King takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

King is staying active underneath Ali, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Ali is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Ali is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so King is just riding it out for now. Ali eventually gives up the hold.
King wants to get back to full guard.
Ali is trying to control the action in half guard but King is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

King is defending against the submission attempts here by Ali.
Ali thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed King's head.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

King is trying to stand back up but Ali is controlling him

Ali drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ali jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
King wants to get back to his feet but Ali is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Ali postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! King is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Ali, into his guard.
King has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Ali is proving hard to escape from.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

King got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ali has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, King has managed to get both his arms back between Ali's legs - danger averted.

King gets to his feet. Ali looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
