The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sangre throws a left and a right that both miss
and Thompson counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Thompson. Thompson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. A frustrated look appears on Sangre's face as he tries to break the clinch. A head punch on the inside from Sangre fails to land. Sangre jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Thompson walks away with a smile on his face. Sangre gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Sangre misses with a double jab
and Thompson counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Thompson has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Sangre clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Sangre tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Sangre is trying to escape the mount.

Gein is looking to stand up but Hinton isn't so interested in that idea. Hinton's corner is telling him to maintain position. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Gein is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ramires doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ramires manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Diggs is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Ramires advances position into side control! Ramires wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Diggs, who protects the arm well. Ramires is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Diggs has escaped the position, nice work there. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Diggs tries to get back to half guard but can't. Diggs gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Diggs looks gassed!

Ramires can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Diggs is looking to escape. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Diggs is looking to improve his position but Ramires isn't that keen on the idea. Ramires working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Patrol drops back, looking for a kneebar! Jordan looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Jordan looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Jordan! Patrol tries to improve position but can't. Jordan wants to lay and pray for a moment but Patrol keeps working. Patrol is looking to reverse the position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jordan wants to get up but he can't break Patrol's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Boner Patrol will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Patrol connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Jordan lands with a good body shot. Jordan digs a good hook to Patrol's body.

Patrol moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Patrol tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jordan was well out of range. Poor timing from Patrol. Jordan throws a good cross that connects.
Patrol decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Jordan is pressing down on Patrol's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Jordan working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Patrol. Jordan working for a triangle but Patrol defends it easily.
Patrol throws a big right hand that misses. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Patrol accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Patrol wants to control from the top but Jordan keeps moving.

Patrol drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Jordan manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Patrol has Jordan in his guard. Patrol is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Jordan wants to pass the guard but Patrol is keeping the position. Patrol looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Patrol looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Patrol is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Patrol regains half guard. Patrol looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Patrol tries to roll over but Jordan keeps him under control. Patrol manages to get to full guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Joe Jordan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Jordan has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
