Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Randy Rage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charlie Kelly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rage misses with a straight left.

Rage takes the fight into the clinch.
Kelly goes for a takedown in the clinch but Rage prevents it.
Kelly has Rage pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Rage manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Rage is trying to trip Kelly. He has hold of a leg but Kelly is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Rage persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Rage stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kelly swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Rage won't allow Kelly to get back to his feet.

Rage drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Kelly dives on top into guard.

Rage isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Kelly stacks Rage on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Kelly!
Rage manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Rage is keen to just control but Kelly is a slippery customer.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kelly can do anything to dispel that myth.

Rage is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kelly is just riding it out for now. Rage eventually gives up the hold.
Rage tries to pass the half guard into mount. Kelly knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Rage takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Randy Rage.

Papalov feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
